They are pretty thin but they get the job done.

These were perhaps the worst cables I have ever purchased. I operate both a high end recording facility, as well as I perform live in an upper end corporate / wedding event band. These cables were purchased for two reasons - 1) I was on the road (I typically make my own Mogami (2425 with neutrik terminators) and while I did not in any way expect that quality, I would've done better going to radio shack and buying something from their "pro" wall.) 2) I needed the color coding for the road crew. (unfortunately, the road crew never touched the cables, as they were lulled out of service before I handed over set-up them alone.)I purchased these to make a mini-snake for three keyboards - a mono-line to each one. No stress points whatsoever - so stretching whatsoever - these (as all cables I use) were treated with respect. After a single use, one cable was dead from from an apparent solder point break. The second was so microphonic, it was unusable (I haven't heard a cable this noisy in years). the third was holding up. So I replace the "bad" pair, and on night two, a second cable broke. couldn't trust these cables in a real world situation, so they were pulled from service. I learned to never purchased a Seismic audio cable again. There is a different between "cheap; you get what you pay for" and just plain junk. I didn't expect a Mogami cable or a canare cable, just one that would work for a few months until I got to a point where I could build an appropriate snake myself out of materials I trust. As it stands, I ordered three spectraflex cables and, so far, have been pleased enough that I might just leave them be and not bother with building others.When you depend on cables working properly for your livelihood, you, I believe, should get at least a few days out of your purchase. Needless to say, beyond disappointed (but Amazon's return and CS department has been great,,,,)

Great for color coding good sound

I play keyboards. I need 5 guitar cables to get get everything hooked up correctly. With all black chords, even when I tried to label them, it was a pain. Now with a variety of colored cables, it is easy to set up and tear down my equipment. Also the cables are sturdy and frankly just look cool.
