It’s easy to damage your phone accidentally, and when you do, you
want to be protected. Make sure you have the necessary cover to
avoid expensive repairs not covered by your manufacturer

What you need to know:

E-mail delivery of your documentation
-------------------------------------
Your policy documentation will be e-mailed to you within
24-hours of your purchase. Remember to check your spam folder if
you don’t receive it. If you'd also like to receive a paper copy
of your policy documents by post, please follow the advice given
in the email.
You can also access your documentation from within the "Your
Orders" page of your account. Find the order and click "View
policy documents" to download a copy. This feature will be
available no later than 24 hours after purchase. If you have any

Quick and simple cl process
------------------------------
If your cl is approved, we will collect your phone and settle
your cl upon receipt. We will settle your cl by providing
you with an to the value of the current retail market
price of an identical or equivalent specification phone (as
defined by us) purchasable on .co.uk less the cls excess (see
‘Cl Excess’ below). However, we reserve the right to settle
your cl by repairing or replacing your phone at our option,
where it is possible and we choose to do so. An excess fee is
also payable in such instances. For cls whilst abroad, please
refer to the “Cover whilst abroad” section.
Accidental damage covered
-------------------------
From the day you receive your phone, Protect will cover you for
a single accidental damage cl (e.g. a drop, broken screen or
liquid damage).
Your policy will end after a single successful accidental damage
cl and no premium refund will be due.
Repair or replacement phone
---------------------------
If we decide to do so, we may repair your phone or replace it
with a new or grade A refurbished phone of identical or
equivalent specification. The value of any replacement phone
shall not exceed the original purchase price of your phone. A
cl excess will be payable before we can repair or replace your
phone.
Cl excess
------------
You will need to pay a contribution towards your cl before it
is settled, this is the cl excess. If the cl is settled by
, the excess will be deducted from the value of the gift
card. If the phone is replaced or repaired, you will need to pay
the cl excess.
The value of the cl excess is dependent on the original
purchase price of your phone. £25 for phones with a purchase
price of £249.99 or less. £50 for phones purchased from £250 to
£499.99 or £75 for phones purchased at £500 and above.
Cover whilst abroad
-------------------
Protect covers your phone when travelling or holidaying outside
of the UK. We will cover you anywhere in the world for a
manufacturer approved repair or we can settle your cl upon
your return home. Please note that authorisation is required from
us, either by phone or e-mail, before you get your phone
repaired. Where a phone is repaired with our authorisation and
your costs are covered (minus cl excess), this will settle
your cl and the policy will end with no premium refund due.
Cancel at any time
------------------
Receive a full refund if you cancel within 45 days (provided no
successful cl has been made). If you cancel after this, a
proportional refund will be made depending on the length of any
remaining term. No refund will be due, if a successful cl has
been made.
In the event you cancel your phone order prior to dispatch and
we are able to associate that order with this policy, we will
automatically cancel this policy, initiate a full refund and
email you confirmation. If you do not receive confirmation,
please follow the cancellation process as detailed in the Terms
and Conditions.
Insurance contract protection
-----------------------------
Protect is an insurance contract provided by London General
Insurance Company Limited and is covered by the Financial
Services Compensation Scheme in the event the insurer cannot meet
its liabilities.
Please note: this policy excludes

• Mechanical or electrical breakdown;
• Intentional and malicious damage;
• Loss or theft;
• Contents of your phone, such as data, photos and software;
• Accessories not included with the phone when purchased;
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect the functionality of your
phone.
