I didn't know what to do with the bare bulb hanging in the middle of the ceiling in the central hall of our old farm house. The ceiling in this area is a bit lower than the rest of the house so I was limited as to what I could put up there. I got the clip-on shade without high hope of it being the final answer - maybe just something to fill the need until something better came along. This turned out to be the "something better." Once I reached up and snapped it in place (3 seconds) and saw how pretty it looked, and how much like real glass instead of plastic, I was pleasantly surprised. It is understated and fits perfectly with so many different room styles. Very nice.

Easy to clip on, it’s a bit smaller and not as good of quality that I was anticipating from the description. But it looks a lot better than a bare bulb!

These shades are plastic, very light, and work fabulously. They look adorable on my vintage lamps and are easy to clean.

I used it for a porch light bulb!

I like the size and weight, but while hanling it gently it cracked from the mounting hole If it were cheap I would just replace it, but for $28 and its cracked before it is in use I think I'm just done.

Too small compared to description and arrived cracked

It worked well for the overhead light fixture. I wanted to soften the brightness without having to resort to a lower wattage bulb.

I ordered two. Both shades fit like expected and are currently working. Both shades have radial cracks in the plastic starting at the centre and extending 5-20 mm and appear to be from the manufacturing process. The cracks can only be seen once the plastic is taken off the unit as they are underneath the cardboard label.
