Vet recommended these and they work wonders for our husky!He was an anxious, easily frightened dog, then vestibular “ old dog vertigo” actually made it worse.He would jump at the slightest of noise. So fireworks, storms were a nightmare!These make him calm, but not lethargic. He needs assistance for stability and didn’t want him unable to help - he’s a big boy @90lbs. He’s def a different boy, but he’s happy and more calm, less jumpy so for him these work well. They are pricey, but worth it for our hairy beast!

Our re-homed border collie was really anxious around sharp noises and thunder. She would sit in the corner with her nose towards the wall. Almost comatose . After 3 months and taking composure 2x daily she is now outgoing and less fearful. We have cut her dose to 1 in the morning. And she is still growing in confidence.

Only thing we have found that works with our dogs. Has tryptophan in it and calms them in 20 minutes. Ours are spooked from thunder and lightning. Not any more.

Gidget is 16, has doggy dementia, arthritis and bad hips. She's a unique blend of Pomeranian & Dachshund and had trouble sleeping through the night as well as pacing constantly. This is the only product we've tried that actually helps her relax. I would give it 5 stars but it takes quite a while to kick in so we have to plan ahead. I highly recommend!

It works for my dog that is a little high stress and does not like dtorms

It is a semi-soft but mostly crumbly treat that I can tell is supposed to be more soft, but came dried out – and can’t be returned, so I’m out $38. Never again. I have three cats, and I offered it to each of them, and not one would eat it. They all picked it up and dropped it right out of their mouth. So then I tried to disguise it by putting it with a few other Temptations treats, and they each ate the Temptations, but left this one on the floor. It definitely looks much more like a dog treat than a cat treat. But I don’t have dogs, so I can’t speak to whether or not they would like it. If I had bought these treats at somewhere like PetSmart, I would have been able to return them. Lesson learned. I don’t recommend buying this product at all – or at least don’t buy it on Amazon or anywhere else that won’t allow a return.

I use this for one of my dogs who is anxious. He gets them every night and he seems to sleep better when he gets them. The are a soft chew and thankfully don't have much of a smell.

I wish I could leave a proper review. I started by giving him the proper dosage and waited two hours and didn't seem to take any effect. I ended up giving him one more treat before leaving the house for three hours only to find that he had eaten the entire bag when I got home. it might have made him more anxious with how much he got.
