Amazon Basics Eczema Soothing Moisturizing Cream with Colloidal Oatmeal, 7.3 ounce (Pack of 1) (Previously Solimo)

I have had severe eczema all of my life and have tried a ton of different lotions, creams and ointments to get my eczema under control and prevent flare ups. This has become my go to option for lotion. I also use a thicker cream when I need more intense moisturization. But this is my day to day option when I want a lighter lotion.There are no scents or dyes, which is critical for hyper sensitive skin. This is a lighter weight lotion and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. However, it provides enough moisturization even for those with extremely dry skin. People like me, with severe eczema, may find that they also need another product for when they are having a severe flare up, but this product is perfect for prevention on most days. It is also a solid choice for mild to moderate eczema flare ups. It feels very soothing on the skin and I have found that products with colloidal oatmeal are generally helpful for problematic skin like mine.I like that it comes in smaller tubes for some purposes. It is small enough to throw in a tote bag or a backpack, but large enough that you don't need to purchase mass quantities of tubes. Except during the hottest part of the summer, I keep a tube in the glove compartment of my car. I do wish that it came in a larger bottle, as well, though.All in all, this is an excellent product and I hope it is never discontinued.

My skin has been dry and irritable the last few months and dry patches popped up that I haven’t had before. I had some success with other products but somewhat expensive. I tried this calming lotion and it seems to be one of the most helpful additions to my facial care routine. So far I am pleased.

I nought this as a better value alternative to the Eucerin version. See pictures for active and inactive ingredients lists.It seems to be working well for the kids. Application is easy and the texture is not greasiness and make it easy to wash it off my hands (not like aquaphor).The texture is thinner than the eucerin version (see pictures) which i do not like as much because I do not feel like it sticks as well to the kids’s skin. That is why i am giving it 4 stars.

I have very itchy skin and the doctor recommend an oatmeal colloidal lotion. This one was very inexpensive and so far seems to be calming my itchy skin.

It leaves a very thick, heavy residue feeling. Like it just won't absorb and you're sticky. I haven't noticed a difference in my skin when using it to affected areas with eczema. I do actually use it on my feet with socks though, helps keep them soft!

Best replacement for the Neosporin product they stopped making. Use it every day now.
