This textbook is clearly and concisely written. It is easy to understand with attention to detail. Additional references are listed after each chapter as well as a simple quiz. Objectives are at the beginning of each chapter to give you an idea of what you will learn and then they review those objectives at the end of the chapter. It is nice to have a textbook that is written with the student's understanding in mind.

This text was a little bit more worn out than I had expected. However, it is legible and the amount of wear is tolerable for such a great price. I would actually give this rating a 4.25, but can't figure out how to do this.

This book is mandatory for my Forensic Psychology course. It is a good book but a bit hard to follow and read. I wish it where more precise.

Ordered this for my son for school.He's passing the class so I guess I have to give it a positive review.

The author was able to make an interesting subject a very hard read. Even keeping the index, glossary, and all references intact, this book could have easily been half as many pages, much easier to comprehend and maintain the reader/students interest. Making sentences as long as possible is not the best way to get a point across. Repetition makes the reader quickly lose interest, and while key terms in bold are an excellent way to place emphasis, taking up addition space on the side board to repeat what was just emphasized is not only distracting, but wasted a tremendous amount of space, and paper.With better editing, this could be a very useful text for students, and an interesting read to those interested in Forensic Psychology and the many related subjects which are drawn out in this book.

This book was so much cheaper than my college bookstore. This subject is super interesting but so different than TV portrays it. Nice reading.
