5-Stars for these boots, even though I returned them within 30min of receipt! I wear size 12 regular in all shoes and boots: Wolverine, Danner, Hi-Tech, New Balance... These boots in Size 12 (US) fit like a 12.5 US. I could easily get fingers down the back of the boot to the base of my heal, when these were fully cinched up. In addition, the heal cup was too wide... Way too much heal movement from side to side for ankle safety. But these are just fitment issues. As far as the boot goes, top notch quality and design all the way! I really loved the side zipper and snap closure for fast on/off, the inner lining was great, the full eyelets to the top insure no breakage, plenty of room in the toes, nice rubber toe cap, great non-marking rubber soles which look like they would provide great traction, and quality HD leather that looks like would survive at least a year of hard use. Though I could have ordered an 11.5 for lenth issues, I still feel their "EEEE" (or whatever) wide bias would still likely cause excessive heal movement, even in my daily-wear thick wool hiking socks, so I'm going to pass on these, but if you have wider feet, then give them a try indoors, keep the tags on, and see if they fit for you!

This is my second pair of RockRooster boots and I LOVE THEM. The inserts make them incredibly comfortable and my last pair lasted for a very long time. I do wish they made a boot with a polishable toe, but i will enjoy these boots as they are. Thank you

These fit perfectly! I'm a big guy with wide feet and have always found it hard to find good boots that fit and are extremely comfortable. When I first got these I was in love with them. I have worn them 5 days a week, 8 hours a day for over 5 months. The padding/insulation and construction are very supportive. The zippers is great, I did not think I would like it but I ended up using and enjoying the easy of taking them off and putting them on. My feet just slip in, zip up, and I'm ready to go. I am an auto shop teacher and wear them to work everyday. I have worn them in wet weather, mud and dirt, and hiking. They have become my everyday shoes. The insoles pull out to be washed if needed. They have no odor. The boots are kinda quilted inside and resist moisture very well. I don't shy away from water, I use snow shield on my boots since I was a boy. Needless to say I have never had problems with rain or water. The boots have softened to fit my feet very well. Ironically, I've never had boots with soles that don't wear down, until these. I'm glad I found these. I hope they don't change them. The only thing that I would change is the snaps, they do not work well and snap open constantly. I wish that they would have Velcro straps instead, I have a pair of shoes with a Velcro strap at the top of the shoe that worked perfectly all the time. So I will definitely be buying these again and hope they change the snap to a Velcro closure system.

Ordered these after trying a few other comparably priced and made boots, none of which felt right on my feet. I have been wearing similar 8" tall Altama boots for 7-8 years that I really liked and have held up well, but the backs of my ankles/calves always have been sore the day after wearing them. I came to realize that as a stumpy short guy, I should try a 6" high boot to change where the top of the boot contacts the back of my leg to try to eliminate the issue. It's a lot harder to find a 6" boot with the side zippers, which I now view as essential for ease of putting on and removing my boots and keeping the lacing at a consistent tightness. Right out of the box, I was impressed with the construction and quality of the boots. They were a little stiff at first and caused some minor soreness at the top back, but as I've worn them around the house and back and forth to work a few times, they have softened up and now that problem has been eliminated. Very comfortable for standing for longer periods and I'm hopeful that they will be as durable as they are well constructed. I have to say that these also are a pretty highly rated in the reviews and that definitely contributed to my choosing them.

This is my Second pair of Boots from this company. I am ON my feet, concrete ALL day. I am also an avid gardener. Take Your TIME and MEASURE your feet with a seamstress tape. Trace them out, followed with the instructions and you WILL NOT be disappointed! Pros; -Amazing support! Comfortable. -The lining for waterproof is stitched in well. First Day out of the box, I TILLED the garden. (Normal boots that tie, would have been filled with MUD- I usually wear pull ups for this task, but needed to test them out) They wiped up easily (they were CAKED in mud) -They keep great traction on waxed floors while floors are wet. - They are LIGHT - Do not mark the floors (which I maintain) or squeak , distracting people in the building. (Janitor in a school) - I Have not had to change socks mid shift ! The cool max seems to be working! Cons - These DO have a slight break in, compared with the others I’d purchased. At FIRST. I thought, The size may have been wrong, or wrong size sent. *NOTE* photo where my finger is pointing below laces! As I mentioned in my PRO, the REASON it felt SO much different is the way it’s Stitched! It only took ONE full day for myself for the “break in” However, I bend , squat and stoop MULTIPLE times a day. (I have a bunion and SUPER wide feet with a high arch, it felt like a Band of pressure there. RIDE it out) I tied them loosely- and second day I pulled tighter. - snaps, I am not sure if it’s my stride, I have noticed, they catch each other and come undone. While it’s a nice “look” I may be removing those . I am happy I found these, I read multiple reviews and held out on buying. I could not find the ariat motorcycle boots that I’d wore for a decade. Most of all MY BACK feels SO much better!

Perfect! Lightweight. Conformable. Worth the money. Not regret of buying

Delivered half size less than i ordered but after two days using become more comfortable, reasonably good material and good insole finishing, probably the best work shoes I ever had, liked the zipper for fast and easy wear, highly recommended for long hours working.

These are perfect for me. I don't have to undo laces all the time anymore. Zippers work fine.

Most comfort I’ve ever had in a work boot. Like strapping on 2 foam mattresses to my feet
