Made on equipment that also handles peanuts or tree nuts??

Hey Alicia,I contacted the company that makes Tylose Power this is the response they emailed me.Our products are not manufactured on equipment that handles peanuts or nuttrees. However, we do have nuts in the building.Thank you,RobbieHope this helps you!

What is the ratio of Tylose to fondant needed?

Actually to make perfect gum paste knead 1 teaspoon of Tylose or CMC into 8 ounces of rolled fondant. Seal the gum paste in a tightly sealed bag and it should last 2-3 weeks. I hope this helps. 😁👍

Is the Tylose powder white or beige color?

Kind of beige. It mutes colors.

What is Tylose powder made from?

Based on what I just GOOGLED (hint hint) Tylose is made from sodium carboxymethyl cellulose gum (CMC) and dextrin.
