🔌 Power Up Your Potential!
The DROK Slim DC Boost Converter Module is a versatile and efficient power supply solution, converting input voltages from 2.5V to 6V into adjustable output voltages ranging from 4V to 12V. With a maximum output current of 1000mA and built-in protections, this module is ideal for DIY projects and portable applications.

Before you buy, know that this will require surface mount soldering if you want something other than 5.1V!Very compact design. I needed between 7.2 and 8.4 V so I swapped R2 to 12k. (Note that the values installed were 20k and 150k as mentioned in another review). 0.6*(150+12)/12 = 8.1V and I measured 8.15V. I'm using this to power a Sony NEX-5N from a USB power bank.

very compact
I piggybacked a sm 15K resistor on to R2 to get a little more than 11V.

5.1V out as shipped. To change output, you must change a resistor value.
The output is configured for 5.1V as shipped.R2 (30C - value 20k) is closest to IN-. R1 (18D - value 150k) is the next resistor in the row. Note: if you try to measure the resistor values IN CIRCUIT, you will get different values!I needed ~12V to power a small LCD monitor, so I replaced R2 with 8.2k.Using the equation, 158.2 / 8.2 x 0.6 = 11.6. The output of mine measures 11.7. Close enough. Thanks!

Works better than expected
Produces a solid 5.0V to power an Arduino (with no external components), even with input voltages as low as 2.2V (advertised dropout voltage is 2.5V). Also I accidentally hooked the input wires up backwards for a few seconds, noticed 1.6 amps on the power supply, and shut it off figuring I had destroyed the unit but guess what - it still works fine!

Great DC/DC boost module
DROK makes great little module boards. I converted mine to 12VDC out by changing R1 and R2. By reading other people's reviews, it seems they may have some variation in the default factory values for R1 and R2. Mine were 73K and 10K instead of the values listed. Still, not problem for the electrical hobbiest to tweak the output voltage to your needs.

This small company, I hope is going places
Item came intact, fast, and with open arms for support and return if needed. Thanks guys, but I'm keeping it!

They work just as described, just gotta play around with the SMD resistor values you've got and the calculator. Varying the input voltage does not seem to impact the output voltage once the resistors are set as you want them.

Not too difficult to get 6V
Seems to work as advertised. I used a 680 Ohm for R1 and 75 Ohm for R2 to get ~6V. Worked out for what I needed it for.

broke
dont want to send it and wait another month so I will weld it... but very disapointed for the price
