Bought this as an overhead light as we go up to our attic bedroom (at the top of the stairs). The contractors left a bulb in the (uneven) header and that had to go.The reason I chose this one is that you could select the light color. None is "dim" just slightly warmer. It would have been nice if it could have been put on a dimmer, but that's contractors for ya.Due to the location of the light, it was a difficult project, not to mention that the contractors didn't put the light box the right way so my husband had to drill into the ceiling to get it to stay the horizontal ::eyeroll::. It wasn't difficult, but lighting in general is painful because things are hanging from the ceiling and rarely have enough light.We also spray painted this to it would look better, but still looks very cheap and feels cheap, but it was probably due to the ability to change the light that it was that expensive.It's up, it works. that's all.

Nice bright light for the top of my mirror dresser. I was thinking about the brighter version, but this one is the perfect brightness. Anything more would have been overkill and not pleasant. I can turn this light on at night and get dressed using my mirror and not need any other lighting in the bedroom. I had to take one star off because it doesn't have a switch or button on it to turn it off and on. A little, low profile, push button switch on top, would have been perfect. For the asking price, I don't think it is too much to ask. But, the style is great and it is well made. Thank you.

I bought 4 of these total for 2 bathrooms. 2 of the 1-foot chrome cylinders for the small bathroom and 2 of the 2-foot chrome cylinders for the master bath. I replaced very old dated fixtures from the 70s or 80s. I have an older home and my vanity junctions boxes are on the ceiling and not on the wall so it was hard to find something modern and contemporary that would look good mounted on the ceiling. Most new vanity fixtures are for a wall mounting. When I first saw these I knew that was what I was looking for. These look great installed! I tried to do it myself but had problems and ended up having an electrician do it but they look great and combined with new sink faucets really modernize the bathrooms for a relatively small expense.

The light was relatively easy to install and provides a good neutral color light. However the chrome parts look thin and cheap. Kind of plasticy. I wish I hadn’t let the rerun window expire.

My husband wanted bright in the master bathroom, and he got it with the 48" light. The electrician put a dimmer on it for me which makes it very versatile for those unwanted hairs, or the early morning slow wake up. It could even be brighter and has an adjustment inside the switch box to accommodate desired level.We bought the 24" light for the guest bathroom (dimmer used). Love both!

Received this and installed recently.Overall, decent light and looks good. I don't find it too bright like some reviews suggested, it seems pretty good to light up a medium sized bathroom.One downside, it seems to take the light some time, 3-5 seconds to come on, which is a bit annoying.

Bought 4 of these and are very happy with them. Nice and bright while looking great. Only one has a louder buzz to it when on yet functions fine. No shipping damage although the boxes were kinda beat up on arrival. No problem.

While the light fixture looks good mounted, it is cheaply constructed. The lights 3000k CRI rating of >90 appears to be impacted by the diffuser and appears more towards 4000k. It's very bright. I have it mounted in the room with a WAC light fixture at 3000k >90 CRI and the color between the to fixtures do not match. The Lithonia light has a slight humming sound and delays when turning on.

Looks and works ok, however makes a buzzing sound. The light switch is standard, non-dimmable, so in theory should work ok without any noises.

Perfect light for our bathroom!!!

Easy to install, nice form and function, colour temperature and quality was what I was looking for.Only complaint would be the slight delay for the light to come on (slower than the Halo brand ceilinglights I installed in the shower), but other than that, good value.

A bit too bright but still lovely
