I assumed the box was bigger. I never seen one so small before. They are wrapped in a clear plastic, also there is no applicator with these. You have to just slide them in. So make sure u wash your hands BEFORE you go to the restroom and of course very thoroughly after that way ur not putting germs where they don't belong! They are about an inch & a half long. As for absorbency and use, I haven't a chance to use them yet but once I do I will be sure to update. But we all know every body is different and it depends on your water intake and diet as well. Besides these are for light use so I dont really expect to have a full one. I just dont want spotting on my panties. I dont like liners bcuz I usually wear thongs and I'm sure a liner would be fine vs. these as far as convenience and spot protection. But if you're old enough to know your body and cycle, you will know when to upgrade to a bigger size when/if needed. If you're young and just starting or maybe you're older and just decided to look into possibly using tampons, (in my opinion) you should really think about the convenience and probability of proper sanitary use with these. Yes they are very discreet and taking the wrapping is the quietest I've ever had with any brand I've used before. But make sure you're fully prepared like any time of the month to deal with these. Good luck ladies, and I hope you never ruin your clothes! These aren’t light. Box Picture says regular and that’s what they are. Can’t go by the description. Expand to be too big for what I need.
