Q: What is the difference between the Liftmaster 893LM & Liftmaster 893MAX?

893max is backward compatible to older operators, back to the 1990's. It will worl with an operator with any coloured programming button. 893LM only works with the latest security levels Security+ 2.0 which has a yellow programming button.
