SURREAL Planters VB6 Vertical Planter, 8-Inch, Birch

The picture looks great. From 6 feet away it looks great. Any closer and you see this is not from a decent store. I’m not sure I could actually use it for a planter because it looks like it wouldn’t last long if it were to get wet from watering. I might be able to get away with using as a cache, but hidden in a corner away from guests. Save yourself the hassle and don’t buy. I returned the planter/cache pot.

I love the lifelike quality of this planter. It almost looks like a real birch trunk.This is a planter that is made from a mold of an actual tree, and then hand painted to look like the real thing. From a distance it looks legit, up close it looks just as legit. The "bark" can chip off (like a real tree) so be careful.The material is light-weight but sturdy. And there are a variety of sizes for your needs.There is a drainage hole on the 8" version. Since I didn't want to put a water tray at the bottom, I used a combination of sphagnum moss and hydro stones in layers at the bottom of the planter to help absorb excess water and work as a reservoir.This is a fantastic natural looking pot for your plants. Get one or more to match. Recommended!

The box that the planter was in was dented. The tape that ran from side to side on the box was not sticking and at the ends of the box the tap had been broken - essentially, the box was open. I'm amazed the planter had nodamage. This is the third time I've received something from Amazon where the packaging was insufficient.Are you guys working too fast to be efficient?M. Cox

Although this is really pretty it does not look good with every plant in it it takes a special plant to set it off I tried several plans before I found a plant that looked really good in it. It's definitely not a modern look but I have a farmhouse and it actually looks nice in here

I love the look and how lightweight it is. The only part I don't like, and it is a tiny thing, is that it doesn't sit flat when you use the plug at the bottom, which I do because I do not want to use a plate with it when watering. It really does look like wood. I would buy again.

My new favorite planter!! Love! Love! Love! This planter is so unique & I love that’s it’s lightweight but super solid. The plant that’s in it is very heavy & thick. I needed a deeper pot that could almost prop this plant up. This planter couldn’t be more perfect for handling this beast of a plant. I will be ordering more. Thanks for your perfection!!

A person needs to actually see this planter. It is stunning. I don't often write product reviews, but this item is unique. It is beautiful. I just received it today, and had to tell of it. I have a lot of nice houseplants in a lot of nice pots of various kinds, but this is by far my favorite!

These planters look very high end. I love how lightweight they are since adding soil and plant is heavy enough. There is a hole for water drainage or there is a plug if you don't want to use them as a planter. I would definitely purchase these planters again.
