Works well at eliminating scale buildu.
The housing constantly leaked.I’ve replaced the O-ring twice to make sure it wans’t the O-ring. Customer service thankfully helped me determine it was a defective part and replaced the entire unit. Hopefully this time it’s leak free. Out side of this issue, we love it. No funny feel to the water or odd taste. In fact the water tastes funny when we’re bypassing the filter. The filter media does a great job of removing debris, iron and odors. In 8 years no scale buildup in my toilets, shower heads, sinks, tubs and no issues with my expensive super automatic coffee machine.
