Cover plate seems a bit off

I have installed 2 of the outlets with no mechanical issues. Definitly tamper resistant and not the easiest to plug into but with kids at home I would rather have it that way. The screwless cover is nice however it seems to bow and not fit flush with the face of the outlet. In some spots, the outlet face is actually inset from the face of the cover.

Really enjoying the double cover and the fact that there kid prove. In the sense were you have to really push to get the plug in. The light helps.
