Economy Adjustable Knee Kicker,Black

Just moved in to a new house, couldn't find anyone around to replace carpet in my house that wasn't outrageously expensive. I have installed carpet once in my life and remember having one of these, so I bought another. This thing is great! Extendable for my long legs so I don't have to be right up against the wall while trying to kick, and collapsible so that I could fit into the closets and get the carpet in tighter spaces. We installed some thicker carpet and the adjustable teeth on this worked perfectly. Only complaint from me is cleaning. The little carpet fibers get stuck in the teeth on it and it starts to not work the same. Had to clean it out, but, you have to do that with all of these carper kickers.

We had a minor flood after about 3 feet of snow melted, followed by 4 inches of rain in a week. Every carpet repair company in the area was overwhelmed from all the flooding, so no one would even return my calls for such a small job. I was on my own! I watched several YouTube videos to learn how to restretch and reinstall carpet, and it actually seemed doable so, I bought this tool because hiring a pro just wasn’t an option at the time. For reference, I’m a 56-year-old woman, 5'2" and 105 lbs, and I was able to fix our carpeting myself. I will say it was more physically demanding than the videos make it look, but it worked. You can see from the photos that the carpet turned out perfectly!! I did end up borrowing my brother’s Roberts knee kicker for part of the job, but everything was done by me. SOOO happy to have my basement back!

Easy to adjust. Comfortable pad. The safety pad for the head does not fit well. Product works as described

Excellent product. Used it to stretch out a large outdoor putting green surface.

I used this to remove a wrinkle in my short-pile carpet. This was my first time using a kicker. This one did not disappoint. It easily adjusts for grip on the carpet and for the length of the kicker. It got the job done!

this is a great kicker love the adjustability in the length and height.

Great kicker excepted for the fact that the pad is not connected to the rest of it always falling off. I had to drill and put a nut and bolt to keep it together.. (see pic) other than that, I love it

Good price for the name

This is a very chunky tool, - which you need when you are stretching a carpet back in place as I was. I had a quote of over a $1,000 to re-stretch my carpets as they had 'rippled' over time. It was simple to use: move the furniture to one side of the room, pull the carpet off the gripper rods at each wall, then start at one end of the room and work your way along stretching the carpet and having someone secure the carpet back on the gripper rods as you stretch with this awesome tool - to hold the carpet back in place, then repeat for the other side of the room (- having moved the furniture of course!). Highly recommend, good price and very quick delivery.

Good product and easy to work
