Size Name:Connection Size 1/8" NPT Male This Alemite 317850-1F grease hose extension is made of elastomeric material, has a 1/8" NPTF (National Pipe Thread Fuel) male end, and is used to extend a grease to reach grease fittings that are otherwise difficult to get to. Made of elastomeric material for flexibility and with an overall length of 18", it is capable of a working pressure of 4,800 pounds per square inch (psi) with a burst pressure of 12,000 psi. This hose extension is for use only with hand-operated Alemite grease models and should not to be used with power-operated models. This extension hose fits onto the outlets of grease s that inject grease into standard grease fittings and are used for applications such as lubricating motor vehicles, construction and industrial equipment, and aeronautics. Oil and grease s are handheld tools that inject lubricant (dispensed from the barrel or cylinder cartridge) into metal mechanical assemblies. Electric and air-powered grease s can dispense large volumes of lubricant in commercial applications, while battery-powered (cordless) grease s are more suitable for mobile and remote applications.
