What material are these made of?

rubbery plastic -I use for teaching swim lesson at the pool. Make sure you squeeze out the water after use every time to prevent mold on the insides.

Where (which country) are these made?

Hi, Our toys are manufactured in a number of countries, both abroad and in the United States. Each one is marked with its country of origin. We have many people in the USA engaged in supporting our toy making and distribution processes and ourselves operate multiple facilities, including our headquarters, in the United States. Regardless of where each toy is made, we run it through the same rigorous and stringent testing procedures to ensure it safety. You can obtain current production information on our website under conformity certificates: https://www.melissaanddoug.com/safetypage/?fid=safety-page Best, Your Friends at Melissa & Doug

I’m worried about mold. Can I run these through the dishwasher?

I have them in my pool ... salt pool for my dog to play with!! They are constantly cleaned via the salt and dry quickly ... so no issues with mold etc. I’ve bought a few sets.
