What is the width of the base? does this qualify as a thick bottomed skillet? Thanks!

Hi. It's a good size. It must be nearly 11 inches in diameter.It is a think bottomed skillet. Be warned, it's a heavy pan. I'm delighted with it. Rinse with water to clean, no detergent and coat with oil before I put it away.I have it a couple of years now and still as good as the day I bought it.To summarise, buy it. I'd give it a 10 to be honest. Hope this helps.

I emailed them and the reply was as followed; We do not use any animal product in our seasoning. We use a highly refined soy-based vegetable oil.

Is it compatible with an induction hob?
