looks good
I bought this kit for my 70 olds 442. I'll give a honest review when I install the kit later this year, after rebuilding the engine.

Good value upgrade
Fitted this to my '61 Olds Dynamic nearly 6 months ago as it was running very poorly having been off the road for around 12 years. It obviously needed the ignition system sorting so decided to upgrade to electronic for reliability and easy maintenance (no more points/condenser).Fairly straight forward to fit, from strip down to engine up and running took about 2 hours.Car fired instantly on initial start up, I was lucky that I got the timing pretty close when I refitted the distributor, as I expected some tweaking would be required.Car runs great now, have had no issues with it in the last 6 months, and the Olds manages around 12mpg (UK Gallon) on my 3 mile drive to work and I've had 20mpg on a motorway journey, which I don't think is too bad for a 2 ton car with a 6.5L V8!

Took some tweaking, works great!
Easy enough to install (directions were very well written) as long as you have a basic understanding of how things work in there. The only trouble I ran into was that one of the holes in the black plastic instert has to be widened a bit and I had to find a longer set of screws to secure the rotor back in place. Besides that went in easy and my truck fired right up, no problem. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to upgrade from points for cheap.

Excellent if your classic is a "driver"
For classic car lovers that like to drive their cars this Mallory electronic ignition conversion is great. My 1967 Camaro 350ci/295hp starts, idles and runs up to the redline like a new car now. Tip: Buy the matching coil (Mallory #29219) and a new Mallory cap and rotor for a complete upgrade. Also, if you pull the distributor (makes installation easier) you will need a new distributor gasket (not included) to finish the job.

You've got that spark
Easy to install and works great. I bought a second one for another car. Would buy another.

Mallory 6100M
Tried a couple different distributor's, but could not get them to work. I rebuilt my stock distributor with the Mallory 6100M E-Spark and my car is running great now.

the conversion was truly "pointless"
Installation was very easy, but getting the car to run has been quite a problem. I seem to have opened up Pandoras box as I now have an electrical gremlin that I can't seem to locate. I put the old points back in last week and still can't get the car to fire up. It ran before I started the conversion. I'm not saying the e-spark unit caused my problem, but if your car runs with the points in it, like mine did for 50 years, why change? I'm sorry I bought this unit.

Works fine.
I am not a hot rodder. Just wanted a modern ignition in a 68 Pontiac. It works fine. You do have to pull the distributor to install it. So if you are afraid of that, maybe get some one else to put it in for you.
