I have always gotten my sea moss already made and thought I would save some money and make my own. This does not disappoint. I ordered the multi-colored moss. I did not do the first small batch correctly and could not figure out what I did wrong. I put a very small amount because I didn't know what I was doing in a mason jar and let it sit. Duhh- it didn't expand and was hard to blend. So of course, I went to YouTube and saw how to do it. Take a handful or half a handful-it expands a LOT, and put it in a medium-sized bowl covered in distilled or alkaline water (make sure the water completely covers it. Let it sit for 6-8 hours, rinse it off again, and sit some more, but you don't have to. The eight hours, honestly should be enough. Take it out, put it in a blender with more distilled or alkaline water, and let her rip! You can make it chunky or smooth. Whatever floats your boat. I made mine smooth as yogurt and added a little bit of my MCT oil. It made about 3-4 8oz jars. Put one in the fridge, the rest in the freezer and there you have it. Easy peasy! I have read that it should last up to six months in the freezer. Mine won't last that long I'm sure. I put a tablespoon full in my Ryze coffee every morning. I would recommend this product. Good product and great value! My daughter went out and bought her sea moss and of course, paid about $35 for 12oz. I made that much in my first batch and I know just from looking at the dried remaining batch; that I have three times as much left to use. Store the unused sea moss in a cool dry place.

I wanted this sea moss to get the benefits of all three types of sea moss in one. When I received the package, I opened it to see if there was an unpleasant or strong odor. There was a mild scent of the sea that I didn't object to. The package says one ounce will make 16 oz of gel so I measured out one ounce (pictured). I rinsed it and found there were only a few grains of sand. I poured alkaline water over the moss and allowed to soak. It expanded a lot in only 8 hours (pictured). I let it soak for a total of 24 hrs and it didn't change much from the 8 hr pic. I rinsed it again and put it in my food processor using more alkaline water. It turned out well and I took a spoonful to see how it tasted. It tasted lightly of the sea, just like its smell. It's not the best taste but it's not overpowering and can be easily masked. I think this is a great value since I have enough to make 7 more batches. I recommend this product.

I’ve been making gold sea moss gel for about 8 months and was excited to branch out and try purple and green sea moss. Unfortunately, this mixed pack didn’t meet my expectations at all. First, there was a very potent smell that was off-putting and not something I’ve encountered with a previous brand. Even after soaking the sea moss overnight as recommended, the product was still unusually hard, making it difficult to work with. When I attempted to blend it into gel, it wouldn’t process smoothly, resulting in a chunky texture that was far from the smooth, gel like consistency I’m used to. Overall, this product didn’t live up to its promise, and I can’t recommend it to others. I’ll be sticking with my usual brand of sea moss in the future.

Everything was A1! This is like the 2nd or 3rd time that I've ordered from this seller & each time has always been a smooth transition! The sea moss is nice & fresh. It still has a slight hint of the sea smell to it, but not overpowering. There is some sand but it's not to the point where it looks like a powdered doughnut, lol, only traces of sand. It comes packaged & boxed nicely. This time it was in a big clear plastic bag, only because I purchased the 5lb bulk (I'm happy that she added that option now), which was fine & she also included a few of the packaging bags that it normally comes in just in case I wanted to bag it up for resale, PLUS threw in a extra regular bag of purple sea moss! I even paid extra for expedited shipping & it came 2 days earlier than expected! I have no complaints & will continue to shop with this seller when needed for authentic sea moss!
