How many uses do you get per bottle?

Do we sniff just once before we lift or sniff a few times?

You sniff as much as you want! Sniff a little and you’ll feel ready for a decent lift. I personally breathe deeply for a minute or two, then breathe deeply through my nose while sniffing it on the inhales three or four times in a row. That’ll make you wired and focus on GRIP AND RIP and you’ll hit a PR every time

Do I need to add water to the cotton ball every time I use it or is it one time initially and that's it?

You only need to add water to the smelling salts one time. Adding water activates the smelling salts. Once active you never need to add water again. This way the smelling salts never lose potency in transit, you can choose when to activate them. Once active they will last roughly about 2 months.

Does it work for going on a run/race?

Ward Smelling Salts works by causing a rush of adrenaline. It's very powerful in moments where you need sudden bursts of strength and power such as powerlifting, strongman, hockey, football etc. The effects after smelling last about 3 minutes. This makes smelling salts very useful for sprints, but not as helpful for marathon running. However the sudden mental clarity it provides can be very useful to get your head in the zone at the start of the race.
