Does this have a hole on the arm rest side? My recliner does not have a handle, so I don't want a hole.

Will this snag or tear easily?

It's a stretchy knit material with a velvet-like texture. It isn't very thick, and I imagine it could snag if you worked at it. I bought the cover to hide damage my cat did to the back of my chair. It had the added benefit of not being a fabric my cat had interest in, so he stopped clawing at the chair. It certainly looked better than what the cat did to the chair, but it isn't a very good looking cover and doesn't fit well. The covers don't stay on very well and always needing constant adjustment.

Can the arms be bought separately? My recliner has no handle (you just lean back/weight induced) so I'd prefer the arms match and for cleaner look.

As far as I know, you can’t purchase just the arms. But I do know the pieces fit perfectly and where the handle would be is disguised with a large pocket. Hope this helps.

Does this sofa cover protect against scratches getting on actual sofa fabric?

Yes, in my opinion. The fabric is relatively thick with high stretch.

Great alternative to a new couch

I have two couches that are made of solid wood on great condition and worth a lot of money, however I didn't like the look of the couches anymore so I purchased a generic couch cover for each couch that was the 1 slip. It was ok but it looked like a slip cover and I got a hole in it so after some research I purchased these and fell in love. They aren't too thin and they are easy to install. But the best part is it actually looks like a couch. I couldn't have been happier and my wallet agreed.

Easy to put on

This is a great product. My ONLY complaint is the hole for the footrest handle was on the same side as the pocket. The hole was inside the pocket. Other than that it was easy to get on.

Does what it needs to do!

My couch is 110” long so I had to buy the XL cover plus a chair cover to complete my whole couch. It’s not the perrrrfect fit however I know if I had a different shaped couch, it would be fine. My armrests are just large. The large ottoman cover fits perfect! We have dogs so this has been great. It’s soft and the cushions have ties at the back to keep everything in place :)
