This is a winner in every category. Delicious, nutritious, and a great value for the money. Buy them while they have them. Working on my third container, I will definitely reorder again. This product deserves 10 stars for value.

The flavor is great and the amount is adequate for the cost. However, no matter how I’ve tried cooking them, they do not not firm up or get crispy. The texture is like when you bite into meat but only get fat, like the white part on bacon.

I have been a vegetarian for 23+ years, vegan for several years in between, and try to not just eat soy as a protein, I love seitan. I either make it at home (which is time consuming), or buy my preferred brand Upton's. Upton's has been harder and harder to find, and it's expensive, so have been looking for an alternative. I tried this because it's inexpensive. This stuff is gross! You get what you pay for, I guess. It's sweet! Why?? This has *too* much flavor, and not a good one, this should have a more neutral flavor so i can flavor it myself in a dish. Tastes like an old container of greasy chinese food that has sugar added to it. Honestly spit it out when I tried it. At least it's not expensive.

I was disappointed that half of the cans were dented. Had I shopped for this item in person, I would not have made that purchase.
