Premixed a-c oil and dye, make adding to system a breeze!

So far so good after vacuuming and recharging the A/C on my 2006 Jeep Wrangler.The 8-ounce bottle was plenty, more than I needed, which was good because I spilled some of it as I was figuring out how to use the oil injector tool, a bit of a learning curve. I had never vacuumed down and recharged an automotive A/C system before. With the proper tools, it's an easy job for the DIY in you.After a week of constant use in nearly 100-degree heat, the A/C is still going strong and works perfectly.Pro:+ This 8-ounce bottle, even including the cost of the injector, which was purchased separately, is more cost-effective than the little cans of R134a & oil mix.+ This 8-ounce bottle is less expensive than the equivalent product found at the Auto parts store. The big-box store only had the more expensive R134a & oil mix cans.+ The bottle can be capped off, and the remainder can be used for another job.+ The bottle is clear, so you can see how much is left.Cons:- nothing so farI have one more vehicle that needs a bit of A/C work. Purchasing the gear, including the gauges, adapters, vacuum pump, oil injector, and this oil is still less expensive than taking it to the shop.

I injected this into my AC system because I had a leak somewhere. Turned out that a bolt must have hit the AC condenser and punctured it. The bolt was still embedded in the condenser.You will need a tool to inject the oil in the system with but they are cheap and can be found on Amazon.You can also recharge the system yourself. You just need a vacuum pump and a set of gauges. There are plenty of videos on how to do this.It has been about 2 years since I did this repair and it's still holding strong and blowing out cold air.
