This is actually one of the first tools I bought back in the mid eighties when I was learning airframe repair. It was a required tool for the course. It's a spring loaded center punch and since the spring and release mechanism does all the work, it makes the layout process very efficient. Mine got lost in one of the many villa moves we have made in UAE so when I found this very same tool on Amazon I grabbed one! Once again my tool set feels a little more complete: never though will my tool set ever be fully complete, even up to the day I pass... and much to the chigrin of the minister of the interior, the 'ol ball and chain, she who must be obeyed.... 😃

Brilliant little tool.
I had 4 stripped tiny screws that I couldn't for the life of me get out. Tried all sorts of screwdriver bits, drilling and everything.. Nothing worked. 5 minutes with this thing and I got them all out. It packs a serious punch. Quite impressive.
