It is granola indeed.
Flavor and texture is excellent. A very chewy seeds mix. To make it easier to eat I mix with bran flakes cereal. A great combo!

I love this granola but one of the bags was expired and completely smashed.

Maple Pancake flavor is tasty and the Paleonola isn't too sweet
The Maple Pancake flavor of the Paleonola Grain Free Gluten Free Granola is my favorite flavor. There are only 4 grams of sugar, so it's healthy, and make in the USA. It's a tasty and easy addition to plain Greek Yogurt. I also put it in my oatmeal. You might wonder why I don't buy regular granola that has grain? I can't eat the oats that are in regular granola...I have a sensitive digestive system. I think granola has raw oats. But I'm able to eat COOKED gluten-free oatmeal. I add the Paleonola after I cook the oatmeal, as the nuts add protein, and it adds flavor to the oatmeal. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that it's kinda pricey. I haven't seen this product available for a great price.

Don't kid yourself and think you can buy just one bag.
Paleonola has turned into my absolute favorite granola... I usually make my own but was intrigued by the 'maple pancake' flavor when I saw it on the Whole Foods shelf and I've been hooked ever since. It's not terribly sweet and I think it has the perfect crunchy texture without being dry or too crumby. I'll use it as an extra crunch in a bowl of cereal (or pretend it is cereal and eat about 4 servings at once in a bowl with almond milk), on top of oce cream or yogurt, as a crumble topping on fruit... You get the idea. It goes on everything!

Great for Paleo UNLESS you have stomach inflammation
Super tasty! ***Flax Warning*** Our naturopath instructed us not to eat flax as it increases stomach inflammation. If you are paleo because you have stomach pain, you should avoid flax which this product contains. If not, EAT UP!

Absolutely Delicious
Paleonola has such a delicious taste with the walnuts and other ingredients and the taste of maple. I've been eating this for a while and still go through one whole bag in a day. This is my favorite of all.
