Wow! This is a beautiful piece and now a staple in my kitchen! I bought it for my husband as a gift for all his prepping he does for his bbq’ing and smoker! We love to cook so it’s perfect. The wood work is classic and it’s easy to fold up. Great price as well!!

The bookholder has been put to the test to hold paperback and hard cover books and it works wonderfully. Plus it is simply beautiful. Our kid has asked if we could get another to hold their sheet music.

Just got it, so far so good.My book that I just started is too thick, I can't use the sticks on the sides just yet. I bought it mainly because it's made of wood and size was appropriate for my thick book.

I was given two cookbook stands as a gift and while I liked this one very much, the other one had a splatter guard on the front to keep my cookbook from being ruined. This one however, can fold flat and i love the how it holds the book pages. Maybe you could incorporate a splatter shield into this and it really would be perfect. I'd probably order a couple from you for the ladies in my family.

Boy was I surprised at the quality and ingenuity of design. I am currently reading "Gotham" by Wallace and Burrow, about the history of New York City. The book is 10 x 7 inches with a thickness of 2.25 inches and weighs a whopping 4.3 pounds. The TILISMA book stand is amazing. It is very sturdy and the ledge is about 2 inches. Based on the size of my book, I cannot use the page holders (yet) but they will come in handy the further I get into the book. It is very well made and NOT made of bamboo! I know, I know, bamboo is a "renewal resource", but where I live, it's an invasive species ergo, I am not a fan. I plan on purchasing three more as gifts for the cooks in the family. This book stand is worth every nickel and I am so very happy with my purchase.

I bought this to hold cookbooks in the kitchen. Love the look and color of the wood used. You can also fold it up pretty flat, which is very handy for storage. Overall, great purchase

I can rate this full marks less one because the rear mechanism is rather tight. That said, with frequent use and in a kitchen environment the wood will ease. Beautifully made from walnut, it looks good and is very practical in folding flat when not in use.It might tempt more exploration in the culinary art.

The highest quality cookbook holder. It is really handmade and all wooden. Exceptional craftsmanship and functionality.
