Keeps the battery top clean
I use these on my gas golf cart battery. Every year, I take the battery out for the winter. I always smear vaseline on the terminals to keep them corrosion clean throughout the summer months. Now I put these felt pads over the terminals first. I put the battery cables on, and then I smear on the Vaseline. Using these pads, now my job is a lot cleaner to do in the fall. Once the cables are off, I pull up on the pads, and most of the Vaseline comes off with them. A little touch up with a paper towel, and the batter is nice and clean, and ready for trickle charging over the winter months.

They Work!
Most people don't use these but I have used these from time to time and they do reduce corrosion. These are made well and look like they will last and the price is right. These will help make the battery and alternator last longer.

They do what they are designed to do.
My truck, a 2007 Ford Expedition, has many added electrical accessories which are connected directly to the battery terminals. The easiest way I found to do this was to find a Marine Deep Cycle Battery that would 1- fit in the Battery compartment, and 2- be rated for the truck's engine and electrical system. I found the battery, and of course it turned out to be frightfully expensive so taking care of it was a top priority. Using these washers helped the first battery I used them on to last 12 years. The second battery lasted 8 years, again using these washers. Both of these batteries were Optima Blue top Marine Batteries. The battery I recently purchased is a Duracell Marine Battery. Hopefully, it will last at least as long as one of the Optima batteries did. These little washers are top notch products. I will buy them again.

Good value
While many cars no longer have batteries with post, screw in cable attachment, I bought these for a golf cart. Reasonably priced and at this price point they can be replaced every year.

Product as described. Not sure why the complaints about being dry. Product description does not indicate pads are has battery protection spray in them.

Buy these instead of getting ripped off at an Auto parts store
I can kick myself for overpaying for these at my local Auto parts store. I finally bought a pack of these and have a stash. The quality is good. If I had to be picky, they fit a little loose on my terminals but this is a one size fits all part.
