Nice helm that really dresses up my old boat.
For my old pontoon boat, I really debated whether or not to spend the money for this console. I have the tools and ability to build a nice console for less money. However, my time is worth something, and so I went for it. I'm really pleased with the result. It dressed the old boat up nicely, and is really working out well for me. The plastic is thicker than I expected, making it nice and solid. It is still fairly light weight, though, which is important on a pontoon boat.That's not to say that everything is perfect. There are a couple of "huh" things. First, the mounting spot for the helm mechanism is cast a bit crooked, so that the steering wheel is at a little bit of an odd angle to one side. It doesn't interfere with anything, but why not cast it right? Second, the footprint of it is pretty small front-to-back, so as a replacement console, it may or may not cover all the holes in your floor or floor covering. And, third, the cup holders don't have any drains, so they do tend to fill up with water and get gunky.These are minor quibbles, but better to be aware before purchase than after. I'm pleased with my purchase.

Great Console for the Price!
Very simple/basic, but it looks good and it's sturdy (shell is nice and thick where it needs to be). Plenty of room for gauges and controls. LOVE the fact that the mounting points were dimpled for drilling. Wouldn't hesitate to order it again.

Very sturdy and the plastic is thick. Lots of surface area to install switches and gauges.

Had to drill out the holes, and put switch panel on it and then have it covered but it works

Not worth what you are paying for
No hardware and it included instructions for a seat. Quality was not what I had hoped for price. If I had seen in person first I wouldn't have paid more than $45 for it.
