Works well but feels cheaply made and I'm concerned just how long it will hold up.

Great cover lift

This is a very nice, solid cover lift. Our spa is right at 8' and this lift does fit, although no room to spare. Would be nice if it were a bit bigger to allow for some clearance when closing the cover. The cover side flaps can get pinched if you don't help them to clear the pole. But, it works as advertised and seems well made. Be sure to allow plenty of clearance around your spa to maneuver. This lift is not for built-in's.

The hinge failed after opening the cover twice. It is very weak and poorly designed. I tried to contact the company about the failed and they have not replied. Don't waste your money on this lifter or this supplier.
