PLEASE NOTE: At first I thought that three pronged items didn't fit in the cord but realized you just have to basically jam it in there and press down really hard. It doesn't affect anything, but thought I should mention its a bit harder to get the three pronged cords in. ALSO don't be dumb like me and try plugging in anything else than one thing that takes a lot of power (i.e. a mini heater and a PC... not my brightest moment, it caused a power surge but luckily it wasn't permanent). Its not the best extension cord, but it does the job, especially at an amazzzing price for the feet it covers! If this was helpful press dat button ;)

Nice heavy duty cord but contacts are misaligned in receptacles - UPDATED!
The cord is nice and thick (as it was supposed to be) and everything seemed alright but when I tried to plug things in I had difficulty doing so. Upon further inspection I noticed the contacts were misaligned in the receptacles, blocking and partially blocking the male side prongs from the plug I was trying to insert. I unplugged the power strip, found a small screwdriver, and bent the offending contacts out of the way enough to get the plugs to go in. All is well now, and I'm glad I won't have to be constantly plugging and unplugging cords on this strip. UPDATE: unprompted, the seller contacted me and suggested they send me a replacement power strip. I took them up on their offer and received the new item quickly. Indeed, this one is perfect. The contacts are perfectly aligned and hold inserted prongs firmly. The seller's exceptional customer service and perfect replacement item earned them a 5-star rating in place of the 3-star rating I previously gave them. In my opinion, this is what separates great sellers from the rest. There are too many sellers on Amazon that will leave you stranded... Filltech is not one of them. Well done, Filltech!
