I read the bad reviews before I bought these rugs (2 area rugs, a runner and a regular size rug for the back door) I was leery due to the bad reviews, but went with the good reviews and ordered them. I am telling you, go with the good reviews. I am not saying that some people may have gotten a bad one here or there. However, I am AMAZED at these rugs for the price I paid!!! When I first took them out of the rolled up plastic, I was concerned due to the wrinkles I saw on my rugs, but as soon as I laid them down the wrinkles disappeared. Nut the ends of the rug wanted to curl under, so I just rolled it the other way and wala, they laid flat. My rugs were also wrapped in the plastic, however no damage was done to the packaging or the rugs. Also there was a long very sturdy cardboard tube inside the rolled up rug, maybe this is how they are now packaging these rugs to help them not crease flat. I saw some reviews saying these rugs aren't burgundy and more red, to me they are more burgundy red, they look just like the old time rugs with the same burgundy color. However sometimes the light hits them a certain way and I see what other reviewers are talking about, but to me its just a lighter version. So if you are wanting a burgundy or a deeper red to match your decor, these would be versatile in matching either way. Highly recommend these rugs, they make our rooms look even fancier. Hope this review helps settle the minds of other new readers.

I can’t express how grateful I am for this product! It is non-slip, very affordable, washable, and great looking. Did I also mention it is good quality? You just can’t surpass that. I have been using it in my kitchen, in the nursery, and near my baby’s play area and they’ve all been great! Baby mess or cat puke-you just toss it in the washer and it comes out fresh and clean, no carpet cleaner needed. This has made my life so easy I can’t believe how cheap it is!

Pretty nice looking for what they are. El-Cheapo.After a sloppy drink of water, my bulldog leaves puddles from a dripping mouth on the kitchen floor. I got tired of constantly mopping it up or slipping on the hardwood floor. I love her to death, but enough already...I needed a solution.These rugs work great in the kitchen! Yes, they are very thin but for my purpose, that's a good thing. Easy to pick up, shake out, throw in the wash or vacuum. Looks nicer than you might expect. Color is vibrant.Very happy with my purchase and my messy problem is solved.

I was a little nervous ordering this, but ..... Wow! What a amazing surprise. This carpet is extremely beautiful. It is slightly different color than what the picture shows, the aqua color is slightly grayer than shown, but it is EXACTLY what I wanted. I opened the package and rolled it out, and it laid down completely flat. It is not a heavy duty carpet, but that is what I wanted too! This is an extremely good value for the price. Oh, and it was delivered right on time! Thank you for a great experience! BTW - this review is for real. I see a lot of reviews on Amazon that I suspect are friends of the seller... not this one!

Exactly what I wanted to freshen up the tired appearance of our front door entry from our screened porch ! Replacing an old solid brown rug that served purpose well but was always dull, yet other areas/rooms of the house always were more of a priority to refine. So finally this fall I wanted a new, tastefully-colored design rug in warm shades of red but -1) had to make sure it wasn't too stiff as there's a short step that the rug needs to conform to make it properly safe & functional2) have a rubber backing so non-slip 3) low pile but not as boring as old rug 4) preferably washable & 5) as always, affordable. A long list of "wants" but honestly this lovely couldn't fit the bill more perfectly if I had actually designed it myself!!! 😁 And now I've found it, will repaint front door, make a new wreath, place this pretty yet practical rug to accent it all, and our front door entry & entire front porch is sure to have a much more fresh, warm, vibrant, & inviting appeal just in time for the upcoming holidays!

The rug gets a 5 star....it's a nice pattern, not too thick, has skid pad, and the price is right. The problem comes if you want to match multiple sizes and pieces because the pictures are not always accurate. This 8x10 uses exactly the right colors compared to others we ordered, but the pattern is slightly different. And, vendors or Ottomanson (directly) use varying names to confirm there are differences, but you don't see those names until you get the rug. So, the pictures are sort-of close but not entirely accurate relative to the picture or, sometimes, the description of the color/pattern. We ordered one 8x10 and had to return it because the pattern was much darker. This current one is passable, but still not exactly as the picture shows. So if you want 1 rug....it will not probably matter a whole lot. If you want multiples, be forewarned.

If your intent is to purchase a thin floor mat with a design that does look cheaply mass-produced but inspired by classic rugs, you may be happy with this $20 piece. I felt the price was fair (not exceptional) for what I received, but yes, it looks inexpensive -- again, like a mat, not a rug. I bought this mat for the inside entrance to a low-traffic door of a commercial building where something to gently wipe feet was needed. It serves that purpose and is indeed classier than a black rubber Welcome situation. Because the floors themselves are non-skid, I did not have the skidding problem described in some other customer reviews. I personally would not buy this for a home, however, even for a room with modest furnishings unless it were a play room or rec room where it's clear you were wanting to put down a mat, not a rug.

This is a colourful, cheap rug, totally fit for purpose. You get what you pay for and this rug does the job. If you want a softer, higher pile rug pay more money!!!

I just wanted a cheap throw rug for our music room, and wasn't too concerned about the quality. I am blown away by how nice this rug is for only $50. Looks great, feels nice, easy to vacuum- couldn't be happier!

OK for the price but feels very synthetic

As opposed to the Oval version, the dimensions of this rug were as advertised.Very nice colour, material and finish (perfect for our application). The transition between objects in the design, is not very sharp ( "low resolution" weave). Will have to wait and see about durability, but it should hold up. Picked it up on sale - great value!

I like the colour and size of my rug, and it seems to lie flat with a little bit of initial encouragement. It does not seem to slip on my kitchen laminate flooring. However, the smell of the off-gassing is too much to take; it smells like a cross between fish and vinegar. I hung it outside day and night for the past five days, and the odour persists. I have decided to put it in the shed with the hope that I can use it on the patio next summer. If you are allergic to odours, you should choose another rug. It is unpredictable events such as this that discourage me from ordering online.
