Episcopal Hymnal 1982 Red: Basic Singers Edition

My mom and grandma played hymns and I play now in memory of them

This hymnal looks newer than the ones in church.A welcome addition to my library.

This is a wonderful hymnal. I bought one for my home and gave one to my mother so we can use it together while participating in "virtual" church services during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Hymnals are fine -- too bad they don't come in the dark blue that all the rest of our Hymnals are. The red is easily confused with the Prayer Book.

It's a hymnal. Exactly like the ones in the back of the pews at church. I purchased it for when I was taking organ lessons, but was really glad to have it around just to read. Now I have a 1940 as well! This is the standard, and although I doubt there are many knock-off hymnals out there, there's no reason to buy anything else. Plus I always thought the red one looked better than the blue one.

This marvelous hymnal has all the hymns I grew up with as a cradle Episcopalian. As a seminarian, I love the way they are arranged by uses and seasons of the liturgical year. I highly recommend it!
