Great product, always consistent. If using this for health related reasons, Potassium Bicarbonate is a better option than sodium bicarbonate because it provides a significant amount of the daily recommended amount of potassium and it works great to neutralize stomach acid, stabilize and in some cases lower blood pressure and prevent cramping/muscle weakness. Of course, it doesn't contain sodium which can lead to water retention and increased blood pressure in larger amounts. Many Americans are deficient in potassium due to processed foods, foods that are lower in potassium due to overfarming of land, etc. I'm not claiming that this is a cure all but do the research on potassium and you will find a mountain of evidence regarding its benefits and how many of us are deficient. The taste isn't great but I dissolve a teaspoonful in 6-8 ounces of water and I have no problem getting it down without upset stomach. Of course, each person needs to evaluate how much potassium they need. Generally, healthy individuals need around 4700mg (women) and 5300mg (men and pregnant women). Those with kidney problems (renal insufficiency) need to be more careful with potassium intake. A teaspoonful of this Potassium Bicarbonate should be around 1300-1500mg, at least that's what Ive discovered but it's wise to research it yourself, never take just one persons word! I trust The Lord for my health and eating healthy and supplementing where needed is doing my part.

Potassium Bicarbonate was recommended on a site for people with bladder pain and high blood pressure. I was not able to have my daily mocha because the coffee and chocolate was causing bladder issues. Plus I could not have tea, sodas, chocolate. The doctor said" there is no infection so antibiotics won't help, try some over the counter remedies". I put 1/4 tsp in my mocha and it alkalizes my morning mocha, no more bladder pain. I have tried bladder treatment herbs, but they gave only one day of relief. Then I searched the internet for other women who have painful bladder and found this remedy. The first day I had 1/4 tsp in my mocha and then I put 1/4 tsp in a bottle of water and drank some when I would feel the pain coming back. I am amazed. It has been a few days and for the first time in months I no longer have pain, I still put 1/4 tsp in my mocha in the morning to alkalize the coffee. I also keep a water bottle with a 1/4 tsp of potassium bicarbonate , just in case. I feel absolutely great. Its amazing something so simple can take away months of pain and discomfort.

1 teaspoon (the daily requirement of potassium) in 8 oz of water taken at bedtime gets rid of stomach gas and excess acid quicker and more effectively than the usual OTC products. It also helps relieve pain and stress and promote restful sleep. Fibromyalgics who suffer from muscle pain, anxiety, insomnia and IBS will find this indispensable. Not great tasting, but not nearly as salty as sodium bicarbonate and you won't be ingesting all that sodium. Consistency is fine granular, easy to measure. Any lumps are soft. Dissolves almost immediately. Recloseable waterproof bag. Packaging states that the product is kosher, but there is no kosher certification. Gluten free and food grade also.

This powder has worked well for making my own adrenal cocktail. It’s so much cheaper to mix your own ingredients. It taste and seems to work just as well. I recommend this.

I truly do think this product is very good for better health, and that it does indeed raise the pH level of the body from acidic to less acidic/more basic. I understand that cancers can't grow in low acidic situations and that potassium is a very significant mineral that the body needs. I just haven't quite figured out how best to consume this. I've tried it in several different drinks - water, coffee, grape juice and other juices, but I have a hard time with the taste. I only use about 1/3 tsp. in a cup of juice and it still tastes awful too me. I've sort of stopped taking it for that reason but don't let what my taste buds do cause you not to buy this. I believe it is of very high quality and very good for you. I will find a solution since I know that potassium bicarbonate is extremely healthy when taken in moderation. UPDATE 10.7.17 - I've found that adding this to fruit smoothies is an excellent way for me to consume this. I can't detect the taste at all in a well-concocted smoothie.

Been mixing in 1 gram dry weight for each Liter of water. It's great, it mixes well, tastes good, and I feel good too. I had been using a cheaper grade of potassium used for winemaking for the past few months, and I felt kinda weird. I stopped using it and felt better immediately. With this brand, I never experienced that weird feeling. Great quality, a little pricey but worth it.

this product is far superior to regular baking soda when using it as an ingredient in homeopathic medicin...NO salt! and potassium is a required substance we just don't get enough of...unless your a monkey...yes, bananas are a great source...be careful though because this product will foam up quick when mixed with lemon juice...yup, just like old salt and soda.

We used this product to treat squash plants mold brought on by excessive moisture. I started to see a difference after the first treatment. Plant mold almost completely gone after two treatments. Great stuff!
