KNEE ABILITY ZERO Question: What can a guy who couldn’t run fast, couldn’t jump high and had debilitating knee pain and injuries teach you about becoming your happiest and healthiest you? Answer: Zero. As in, Knee Ability Zero. The Zero actually refers to zero weights, zero gym memberships and zero athletic ability needed to make dramatic gains in your overall health and fitness. All you need is THIS BOOK. Author Ben Patrick - aka #kneesovertoesguy - started out as something of an athletic zero. Sure, he was a good basketball player fundamentally, but his 19-inch vertical was laughable, and his time in the 40-yard dash was so tortoise-like that his high school coach thought the stopwatch was broken. He’d never clocked someone that slow. As if that genetic conspiracy wasn’t enough, Ben endured knee pain starting at age 8. After three knee surgeries and countless trips to the personal hell where constant pain resides, Ben retired from the game he loved at the ripe old age of 18. With zero hesitancy, he devoted his life to developing exercises that would not only help others avoid what he’d gone through, but reach a level of athleticism that maybe they’d only dreamed of achieving. Now 30, Ben’s vertical is an NBA-like 42 inches. Even against pro basketball players he’s often the fastest guy on the court. And best of all, he plays the game he loves full throttle, dunking like a machine - always with ZERO pain. Whether you own dunking dreams or simply want to take a pain-free walk around the park with your child’s hand in yours, Knee Ability Zero is your guide. Each exercise is accompanied by photos showing you proper form. Ben explains not just how to do each exercise, but why it’s effective in strengthening your hips, knees, ankles, Achilles and more. And it all takes just a few minutes several times a week. Applying the exercises in Knee Ability Zero, more than 2,300 people have shared their success stories on ATGonlinecoaching.com. Joe Rogan , Mark Bell and recent NFL Hall of Fame inductee Charles Woodson are fans. From average citizens to professional athletes, many Knee Ability Zero users attest they see and feel improvement from Day 1 . Question: So when do I get started? Answer: Scroll up and click the “buy” button NOW. You’ll quickly learn the truth: That when it comes to helping you look and feel better than you’ve ever looked and felt before, Knee Ability Zero is a 10! I have been following the book's program for about five weeks now and have noticed a marked improvement in the strength and flexibility of my knees, and I am hopeful that the results will continue. I started doing the Knee Ability Exercises about six weeks after having arthroscopic surgery on one of my knees to remove some calcified bursa "floaters." I liked the book's emphasis on not doing anything that causes pain, and I started at a very beginner's level; the programs' exercises are easily scalable, with an abundance of photos detailing beginner to advanced possibilities with the movements. There are also many colorful diagrams showing how the muscles, bones, and ligaments are activated, and the writing is simple and complete. It's a great book, particularly for it's price, and seems to represent the life's work and research of its author. I wish it had been around twenty years ago or more; I think it would have saved me a lot of pain. Review: Fixed my chronic knee pain - The exercises in this book are intended to be performed three times per week. They don't require any special equipment and can be done in your home in as little as 30 minutes. I sprained my left knee several years ago. Since then, anytime I walked long distances or attempted to play sports, my left knee would get sore or I would reinjure it. I bought this book after hearing the author on the Joe Rogan podcast. After receiving the book I started working on the exercises...and reinjured my knee. I was a bit too eager and tried to start the exercises at an intermediate difficulty and it was too much for me. After giving my knee time to heal I started again at the easiest difficulty level and gradually increased difficulty as I gained strength and flexibility. I saw minimal improvement for the first 6 weeks. From 6 weeks to 3 months I started to see dramatic increases in strength and flexibility. My ankles, knees, hips, and lower back feel better than they have in 20 years. I never imagined the exercises in this book would be so effective. This book has changed my life and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Great for post knee replacement leg strength
awesome book!! Had a knee replacement about 3 years ago. Was given this book about three months after the surgery. These exercises have not only strengthened my repaired right leg but also the left one. Result i am pain free and pretty much able to do whatever activity i want. I continue to do the exercises three days a week. Free advice, I would not start these exercises until at least 8 weeks after surgery. I started after formal rehab was completed.

This book helped me become a better fitness coach
I didn’t start doing the exercises in this book because I had knee pain, but I had other problems like sciatica nerve problems on my right side, old hip flexor strain on the right leg, old ankle sprains and flat feet problems that caused my legs to hurt a lot after 1-2 hours of standing to the point that made me unable to do my job and I am a fitness coach so I'm on my feet most of the day. As a fitness coach and graduated professor for Physical Education, Sports and Health, the data in this book made a lot of sense and followed the biomechanics of human movement. Also, I was in a big confusion about physical training with all the data around, and this book handled that confusion for me. I started using the data in this book on myself and the clients that I trained and the results were unbelievable. Some of my clients that had knee problems and surgeries felt a huge improvement and their issues with their knees were gone. My sciatica nerve problem, the pain, and tightness in the right hip flexor and the effect from the past ankle sprains are now just a memory in the past. I work all day in the ATG gym that I’ve opened and I’m on my feet throughout the whole day in barefoot shoes feeling zero pain and heaviness in the legs. So, this book helped me become a better fitness coach in two ways: first, by making me more able to work without the pain stopping me, and second, by giving me the tools and knowledge to make my clients more physically able and handle their pains and body problems. I’m telling you, this small book has information that has more value and importance about human movement than the whole college that I’ve studied for 4 years, so it’s definitely worth it.

Hmmm 🤔
Well Im not completely dissatisfied. But the quality of the book and the price point don’t match. The book is way too expensive and all the information inside the book is on YouTube or some people have a free pdf of the same exact information. It’s a quick and easy read. How to do each exercise is stated clearly. I hope to have somewhat better knees but probably won’t because left knee has arthritis unfortunately.

I can vouch for at least once exercise in here
I was really skeptical about this guy at first, but I took the risk to see if I could learn anything. I got 3-4 great ideas out of this book I wouldn't have got otherwise. The very last exercise the "coach stretch", I had discovered that one last year. I was losing range of motion due to tight quads during my runs. This stretch (done post workouts) was able to unlock the muscles. So to see him recommending it, and having done the exercise prior without his input, showed me that he knows what he is doing. The one part he left out about these exercises, is you need to modify them in ways that work for you. I for example, when doing the couch stetch, use the wall but keep my knee that is down farther out from the wall. I also instead of using a towel, use a lumbar back support as it stays in place since my knee goes into the cushion and the back of it has a wood piece for firmness. I also do this one until failure as many times as I can handle if I'm tight. He grazes over this saying don't push through the pain, which is good advice. But he needs to take it one step farther, which is to play around with modifications to see what works best for you specifically. I liked this book, as I had converted to in-home body weight workouts due to Covid closing the gyms. The price is a little high, but I think its fair as not to have to deal with signing up for his website and all that, and having to cancel. You get to "own" the knowledge by buying.

Coming Back from Lifelong Knee Problems
I’m in my 40s and have dealt with congenital knee problems since I was 10 years old. Looking at the decades ahead of me, I’d resigned myself to the idea that I would slowly lose capacity and eventually have to stop doing many things I love. That changed when I purchased “Knee Ability Zero” two months ago and began doing the workouts 3x/week. Within two weeks, I felt stronger and stabler in my knees. Within a month, I could play tennis or pickleball for hours and the next day, I could walk without pain. The real testament to “Knee Ability Zero’s” efficacy was after I went on an all-day, hike. Steep uphill and steep downhill. In the past, I would’ve needed around three days to recover, but the next morning, I rolled out of bed with zero knee pain. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for the author making this accessible in a book form. Following the exercises 3x/week has changed what I’m able to do. Even better, my outlook on my future is filled with hope. Much appreciation!

This book is immensely helpful for working on my knee
You probably have knee pain and have probably seen Ben's YouTube videos before getting interested in this book. Like so many other people, I'm finding the Zero program (what the book covers) very helpful as an addition to the knee exercises I've been doing. After 2-3 weeks of adding Zero, I wouldn't say my knee pain is totally gone, but it feels very much on the right track. There usually is no pain now, just some mild discomfort and occasionally something seems to "click". Will be sticking to Zero for the full 12 weeks, and probably longer (until I can do the full ATG split squat). Another reviewer recommended just getting the online program for a month for about the same price. Personally, I learn very well from written material, then self-study on my own. If you're a person who prefers video (and submitting your video to a coach for review), that seems like a great idea as well. If you prefer books or are thinking about doing both, I'd definitely still get the book. I like having the reference and do look back at it after working through it a few times. Highly recommended.

Don't recommend, contains mostly pictures
Can not recommend. Book is very thin, has large font and mostly contains pictures for about 7 exercises. If you follow Ben Patrick (which you probably do if you are buying this book) you are well aware of those exercises. Does not contain any programming or workout routine that incorporates those exercises.

It works
I injured my MCL doing BJJ, my knees had been good but starting a combat sport in my late 30s undoubtedly has its risks. I thought my knee would heal on its own and didn’t rest it properly. I’ve always lifted weights and could work around injuries, a bit different at BJJ. My knee was getting worse and worse and I was just working through the pain hoping it would go away. So I got this book, didn’t really stick to it and didn’t see much change, didn’t stop BJJ until my leg was absolute ruined - because I’m an idiot. I couldn’t even ‘air squat’, I couldn’t stand up quick from sitting and was struggling with stairs, I couldn’t run, what a horrible feeling at 38. So I committed myself to doing this program several times a week, largely because I couldn’t do much else. I’m happy to report my knee is so much better, I can ‘air squat’ again, the mobility is coming back and I don’t doubt I’ll be back to BJJ and weightlifting in no time. I’m pain free in my day to day, I was in pain driving or just sitting. Ultimately I still need to build up my strength but the difference is night and day. It’s not a quick fix, you have to actually do the program. It takes like 15 minutes. I do it while watching TV or before/after an upper body workout. There are some moves that feel amazing that I’ll do (elephant walk has helped me massively) at random times in the day. Well worth getting.
