uPVC Window Handle Cockspur Window Handle, White Double Glazed Cockspur uPVC Window Handles - White Found on most older uPVC windows and aluminium windows these cockspur window handles are simple latch type handles. The handles close onto an adjacent wedge block to ensure the window closes nice and snugly. The cockspur wedge is generally a standard fit but you can interchange them and use a different size if the step size of your new handle is different. The handle itself is a metal construction with a key locking push button. This means when you close the handle it 'click' closes and you can deadlock at the same time with the key. The nice thing about the push button is that the cockspur handle can't be flicked open if someone uses a long jemmy rod between the frames.
