I use these for storing larger and heavier items on my Husky metal shelves. Those shelves are tall, and I needed tall bins to use the space best. These fit perfectly.I also have several that aren't on shelves and stacked 3 high for over 2 years without any deformation. I have a lot of papers and weighty materials (maybe 40-50 lbs, but not super heavy like metal components) and I could probably stack them 4 high without any serious issues, but they do start to show a little warping at 4.

I bought these totes as I have purchased Sterilite products before and always been happy. They make a good product. These particular totes are exactly what I hoped they would be. We do have storage totes that are the 30 pound size but they are quite long and when full quite heavy, so only my husband can carry them about for me. These totes are not nearly as long but they are actually a little deeper so while they seem more compact they have a lot of inside room. Also, I opted to go for the "latch" type as they are so secure. I'll have them for a very long time so years from now I won't remember spending a couple of dollars more to get the best. Besides buying 12 of these totes at this price is absolutely awesome. Best price I could find anywhere.

Nothing wrong with my dark blue ones. All six came in fine condition. No visible issues. Came wayyyy ahead of schedule though!

All six bins arrived a day earlier than expected; great job, Amazon!!! They are sturdy, stack on top of each other and each bin can be closed and secured with the latch built in the handle. These bins work much better than cardboard for storage. When cardboard meets water, it becomes soft, smelly and mildew begins to grow. These bins will keep all my items in storage safe and dry. I was looking for storage bins to use because I was moving within the next week so I ordered these bins. I'm so glad I made this purchase. Bins were sturdy no cracks or tears. I ordered 12 and used all of the bins during my move. I would recommended these bins. They even have snaps on the sides that allow you to snap the tops to the bins, very secure. Glad I purchased.

I bought (5) sets of these for moving. They worked great. It was far easier keeping things sorted and in managable weight using these bins. Loading onto moving truck a snap. The lids snap on and the handles that snap into place provide added security. We did buy zip-ties, which easily fit through handles, to ensure bins remained unopened because we had moving company for relocation out-of-state. We are now using these bins for garage storage.
