Works great. Our heating element in our dryer quit working so we couldn't dry our clothes, so we got this to replace it and it's worked fine ever since. Instead of buying a new dryer we found this easier and more affordable option. It is easy to install and it's a quick process. I would highly recommend giving this a try before tossing ur dryer for not producing heat. Check it out

I think the title answers the first question what model do you have and did it fit. It did fit my model DV45H7000EW/A2 direct replacement.2nd question do we have the same problem. My clothes weren't drying and the dryer stopped getting hot. The machine still has display and it spun as it normally should.My heating element had a broken coil, showed up as no conductivity before disassembled and was visually easy to see once the casing was open.Both my thermal switches displayed continuity so I didn't use the new ones.There were four included two looked like direct replacements and two were completely different (I'm assuming for other models)There are a lot of YouTube videos on this some make it seem harder than it is.Buy a set of nylon trim removal tools for cars. They make popping the top open easy and don't scratch it up like a metal tool will. Also most sets or tools less than ten bucks.You do need to open the top and remove both the front cover and the support structure underneath (probably ten Phillips screws) and unhook the pulley and lift the drum out.The heater element assembly is underneath and has six wire connections, two thermal switches and the element itself. Take a picture before unhooking the wires. (The big picture is it's wired so if any component fails then no power can flow through either switch or the heating element. )Recommend taking the heater assembly to a work bench and replacing the element and or switches there where it is comfortable to work on. Getting everything to line up isn't hard but takes a few tries (you certainly don't want to be sitting in a weird position to do it)I can't speak to longevity, but my dryer is ten years old and I'm still using it because of 23.99 in parts and maybe 2 hours of my time. Certainly beats buying a new 5-6 hundred dollar unit.Definitely recommend giving it a shot, and if you don't want to pull the trigger on parts until you know for sure, taking it apart and check for continuity first if either switch or the element has infinite resistance order the parts, if everything has continuity you probably have a different problem.If your dryer is getting hot but not drying clothes it could be the exhaust pipe is full of lint, I've had that issue in a different house on a different unit.Ordering through Amazon also makes returns really easy and the parts were cheaper here than the linked parts on the YouTube video. Perfect item for my Samsung dryer! Works great now! Not the easiest to install if it’s your first time, but I could definitely fly through it a second time. The drying time is back to normal. Very good value for the money because I didn’t have to hire someone.

Looked just like the factory on that burned out. Installed easy and was a perfect fit. Have been using it for quite a while and still works as it should.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My dryer stopped heating yesterday but everything else worked fine. Took it apart and this part was broken. Tried to find one locally and no one had it so I ordered it on trusty Amazon and got it this morning. Just put it all back together and I have heat again. Only thing better would have been same day delivery but I guess it was to late in the day. The product is the same as factory and works great so far. Some reviews mention it going out quickly, we will see but so far so good.

Element burned in two on my unit.This kit was a good value, basically replaces the entire heat circuit. Be sure to clean all the lint out while you are there, safety first. Ready to go for another 18yrsUsed in Samsung

Working well after replacement. The dryer has to be mostly disassembled, but it isn't that hard to do. Ours only needed an element and I decided to change just the element and keep the original thermistor, fuse and thermal switch and put the new parts on the shelf just in case. We used a mulimeter with a diode check mode that beeps with continuity which saves a lot of time.We replaced the belt and tensioner about 4 years ago because it snapped, that belt is just starting to get dried out.If you have patience, a screwdriver and a good light you can fix your dryer for a fraction of the cost of new or professsional repair.If you want to replace everything while you have it apart, order a belt and tensioner, a set of drum roller wheels and this kit. Clean out the lint and take pictures if you arent sure you can remember which type of screw goes where. Dont forget to unplug it first.I find it comical that the instructions in the listing mentioned turning off the gas, while installing an electric element into an electric dryer, haha.Hopefully I wont be back to this review for many years to let you know that I ordered another after many years of reliable service.

The media could not be loaded. The installation was easy! We replaced the heating element and all the parts that it came with. My dryer work great now. Once installed, the dryer fired right up and started heating like new. It's been running great since the repair. Definitely beats spending hundreds on a new appliance or service call. Highly recommend this part if your dryer has no heat—great value and solid quality!
