It is pretty sturdy and quite easy to put together! Perfect for small spaces.

This table was super easy to assemble and a great size for our dining nook. The box it arrived in was pretty heavy and there was some minor damage to one corner of the table, but I blame USPS for beating up the box. I have eaten dinner on it multiple times now with my husband and daughter. It fits us all very comfortably and could easily fit another person if needed. Very happy with this purchase!

What you need to know:Table is great for the money, definitely read the directions carefully as you put together, and lay table surface on the styrofoam it comes packed in or you will scratch it.I needed something that could seat a few people, but also not take up a lot of space, as I live in an apartment. I’m also a bigger guy and wanted something sturdy. This says the benches can support 500lbs and the table can support 300lbs. So far it’s great, it’s a little lower than I was picturing but not bad. It’s sturdy and the benches are also very strong. I like the way it looks and doesn’t take up a lot of space, especially since the benches can be pushed under it.Putting together isn’t hard and can be done by one person. I think it took about an hour? The packaging is massive and lots of styrofoam.Only issues I saw were that the wood is soft (at this price I didn’t expect oak), so when screwing in hardware: once it’s tight you can see it push into the wood and the wood denting. This isn’t a big deal, as it’s all on the underside, but I was worried I’d split the wood or cause it to be less supportive. Also, the table surface scratches really easily, so when I was putting together I didn’t lay it on a towel or on the styrofoam and I ended up getting scratches on the tabletop. It’s my own fault. But this table, at least the black one also shows finger smudges and handprints easily so be prepared to wipe frequently.

I like: that it looks sleek.Pretty stable,does the job to fit in small spaces/apartments.The cons: building it can be tricky cause the holes aren't well aligned but this has an easy fix: Keep all screws loose till you get to put them all so you can wiggle them and realign them; when they are finally all in place, tight them up, no more alignment issues.The other con: It's a lower than usual table so, tall people be wary that it might be uncomfortable. Also, it fits 2 people of adequate weight to height ratio, but it might get tight if it's 2 people on the heavier side.Overall, value for the money and effort to put it together+ looks and functionality? It deserves the 5 stars for me.Fits my space perfectly

Love this set. I'm living in a studio for the first time and have discovered the key to a happy small home is not crowding the space. This set can comfortably seat 4, you can push the seats under the table when not in use for more space, and it has nice clean lines, and a modern, pretty finish (I got the rustic brown/grey combo). Love!

If you have a small space or small dining area - this is ideal. It is as advertised and assembly took less than 1 hour. I even had a couple dining chairs from before that I can slide underneath for even more seating if needed. The only thing I will mention is when you are seated, the table top is a smidge on the low side so you feel slighlty hunched over if eating. However, for the price I would recommend.
