I have loved the Marzipan and Praline chocolates for years and was really worried when I saw they'd changed them this year, but they were actually more delicious than ever! Every single one was divine, hard to believe they could be improved. I couldn't get hold of them over Christmas and was worried they'd stopped selling them, but they must have just been changing the selections. Gorgeous.

The best Chocolates but a bit pricey

The most delicious marzipan and praline chocolates - so much so that I ate them all within 24 hours of receiving - yummy! Thank you!

These are nice chocolates and would make a great gift, but since I bought these for myself I had the advantage of trying them all haha. They taste nice and there is a good variety to keep you interested, though I do personally think the quality was a bit below the price paid. To be clear there is nothing wrong with them, just not “high end” enough in my opinion to justify the price. Your mileage may vary so worth a try regardless.

I used my mum’s Amazon birthday voucher to treat myself to a box of what I thought were luxury chocolates - I usually buy Hotel Chocolat, but these have come up so often I was intrigued - and will never make that mistake again!! My issues are with false advertising and poor quality, in particular: 1. The weight of chocolates shown on the delivered box is 360g instead of the 500g advertised in the item title, description and pictures 2. The chocolates shown on the delivered box don’t match the chocolates advertised in the item description and shown on the images - box delivered shows ‘Kaya Milk Chocolate’ instead of the ‘Alice Amaretto Ganache’ advertised 3. The black inlay in which the chocolates are sitting is cracked and scrunched in loads of places, and there are loads of small plastic shards which broke off from this all over the box and chocolates (not safe to eat) - this is despite the item arriving well packaged in bubble wrap 4. Some of the chocolates in the box don’t even match the images and description on the box itself: - ‘London’ Nut and Butterscotch boat with lovely nuts is not there but instead a cheap looking ‘Wollaton’ Dark Chocolate Butterscotch with green icing and cheap red sprinkles is included - the supposed ‘Alyssa’ chocolate doesn’t have the full pecan nut on top but there is cheap nut mix sprinkled over the chocolate (unless that’s also a different chocolate to the on shown on the box?) - the supposed ‘Adelaide’ and ‘Roxanne’ pralines don’t have their toppings on them (unless they are also different chocolates to those shown on the box?) 5. When trying to request a return and refund, or replacement even, I am informed that “this item does not qualify for a return or refund” - I will contact Amazon customer services to try and get my money back in a different way though because honestly this unacceptable I included some pictures to demonstrate my points - hope is will be helpful for some people. This left me so upset - instead of some lovely birthday chocolates I got disappointments and messy dangerous plastic shards I’m still picking out of the rug now so my dog doesn’t cut his paws or worse if they end up on his toys and he swallows them… I really hope I can get my money back and treat myself to a box of Hotel Chocolat for my birthday instead.

I buy a box of Matins’s chocolates each year at Christmas. Normally delicious. Very. However this box was a Birthday present for a friend. She rang me to say thank you, as she also enjoys their chocolates but unfortunately they were not in the best condition. She told me that most of the chocolate was blown, although edible but the look of them was spoiled. It was very disappointing. Blown chocolate comes about due to incorrect storage. Just thought you should know. I will also email Martin’s. Thank you.

These are real luxury chocolates, every one is delicious and well worth the expense in my opinion.

Absolutely delicious and with a great mix of flavours. Would highly recommend. Well worth the price!
