Liver Test

These really do work. I have had problems and they matched blood test results when my liver was bad then matched the different result when the liver had healed a bit. Excellent.

The 5x Home Liver Disease Function Urine Health Check Tests offer a convenient way to monitor potential liver issues from the comfort of your home. By detecting abnormal levels of bilirubin and urobilinogen in urine, these tests can provide valuable insights into potential liver disease, especially if you're experiencing symptoms like nausea, fatigue, or jaundice. One of the key advantages of these tests is their user-friendliness. The clear color chart and detailed instruction leaflet make it easy to interpret the results accurately, even for those without medical training. The quick reading time of 60 seconds is also a bonus, ensuring a streamlined testing process. 🕰️ The inclusion of five individually sealed test strips is a thoughtful touch, ensuring sterility and preventing contamination. The extended stability of up to 30 days after opening the pouch is also a convenient aspect, allowing for multiple tests without the need for frequent replacements. 📅 However, it's crucial to note that while these tests can provide valuable insights, they should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice or laboratory testing. Inaccurate readings or misinterpretations could lead to incorrect assumptions about one's health, potentially delaying necessary treatment or causing undue stress. 🚨 Another potential drawback is the limited scope of the test. While monitoring bilirubin and urobilinogen levels can indicate liver function, it may not provide a comprehensive picture of overall liver health. Additional tests or professional evaluation may be necessary for a more complete assessment. 🔍 It's also worth mentioning that while the company claims regular quality control testing, some users have reported inconsistent or questionable results, highlighting the importance of proper storage, handling, and testing technique to ensure accuracy. Overall, the 5x Home Liver Disease Function Urine Health Check Tests can be a convenient tool for individuals seeking to monitor their liver health proactively. However, it's essential to approach these tests with caution, understanding their limitations, and considering them as a supplementary tool rather than a replacement for professional medical care. Responsible use and consultation with healthcare professionals are recommended for optimal outcomes. 👨‍⚕️

Excellent, easy to use, clear instructions. Very handy for ruling things out before bothering a GP.

Does the job, bit fiddly

Very easy to use with clear instructions and the tests seem to work well too. The instructions recommend you use them in the morning for more accurate results with some of the tests. If you are really concerned about liver problems then you should definitely still see a doctor anyway as they will have other methods to test your liver function. Just be aware that with many of these types of tests a lot of factors can affect the accuracy of the results.

Far too tricky to use re timings. Results difficult to understand - bought as a liver test - mainly a urine test for kidneys. Print for instructions is tiny and very difficult to read. Not worth the money.

This arrived promptly . There are 4 test strips included with a comparison chart. It is a simple dip and read urine test , whereupon you then compare the results in under one minute. Although this should not be used as an alternative to visiting your GP should you be concerned, I am more than happy to use it as a rough guideline for my own personal benefit as a gauge of how my liver is functioning. So i am more than happy with this purchase

All good, allows me to check my dog for any problems and assist vets with diagnosis and help quicker.
