Bernat Forever Fleece Peppermint Yarn - 2 Pack of 280g/9.9oz - Polyester - 6 Super Bulky - 194 Yards - Knitting/Crochet

This is one of my favorites! I’m an intermediate crocheter, and I’ve tried a lot of yarns. This is very unique and special yarn. I haven’t found anything else that comes close to this yarn. It’s amazing for blankets and pillows, and it’s perfect for amiurumi! I have gotten this in a few different colors, as you can see in the picture. That is a blanket I made using Rumpus Red, Violet Haze, and Rose Hip. I used the Patchouli for a stuffed piggy I made as a gift for my baby niece and I forgot to take a picture of it. Sorry, but it turned out adorably! So, you can see the blanket, the knots from the stitches are extremely strong. The thickness is a perfect 5 weight. It’s washable, as stated on the label, and best of all, it’s so soft and easy to use. Works up fast because it’s a 5 weight, and it’s extremely soft. The yarn feel reminds me of a flannel shirt. The colors are all more beautiful in person than they appear in the item pictures. If you’ve never tried it, I strongly suggest you do. You’ll probably fall in love with it like I have. My niece loves her pig I made for her, and snuggles with it, as a security pig, every night I’m told. The blanket is heavy and very warm, but somehow it’s also light enough to be used in spring and summer nights. I had to order more because we all take turns using the blanket, so I’m making another one. I hope you enjoy this yarn as much as I do

I have been on a crochet blanket making kick lately. Made one for myself, my mom, and now I'm making one for my son. I've been using the Bernat Forever Fleece yarn on this last one and I really like it. It's soft, it's easy to work with, and it's really beautiful. One thing that I've been enjoying is that it's a very sturdy yarn. As in when I'm crocheting with it it doesn't unwind into a bundle of stray threads, like some other yarns I've used in the recent past. I am using a #10 hook to get a wider weave and I really like the way my project is coming along. The colors are very beautiful and they do have a very wide range of colors. I'm using a "cool" color palette and am very satisfied with the results.

This yarn is seriously the softest yarn I've ever felt. I sat here running it through my hands for quite a while before I finally started knitting with it! I'm making hats and mittens to donate to Coats for Kids this fall, and this yarn is perfect for hats; and being #6 super chunky it knits up very quickly. It's definitely yarn that would feel good next to the skin. The one odd thing about it is that it doesn't have plys as such but looks like someone just pulled a strand of thick cotton out long enough to be a skein of yarn, kind of loose, so you have to be careful not to constantly poke your needle through the strands when knitting with it. This may be characteristic of #6 yarn, I'm not sure since this is the first time I've worked with anything this thick. Also, it calls for size 13 needles, and since the yarn is so soft and the needles are so huge it's a little hard to control while knitting; my hands were cramping up the whole way along from trying to keep it from sliding off the needles because it's so soft and slippery. But it works up lovely!

This yarn was a joy to crochet. I made a throw blanket for my daughter and she absolutely loved it. Before she knew it was hers, she commented on the softness and coziness and said she absolutely loved it. I've now purchased other yarn of the same brand and have been very pleased with the quality and softness.

Soft, beautiful yarn! Perfect thickness for what I need, great size skeins, and a decent price for the amount of yarn. Beautiful color, too!

I love this yarn. It is soft, seems durable and is easy to work with. My only complaint is that I wish the “tweed” color version was still available.

Very soft and doesn’t split when using. BUT it is nearly impossible to spool it. Hold it too tight, it explodes. Hold it at the wrong angle, it explodes. Speak kindly to it and offer it gifts, it flips you the bird. Speak harshly and threaten to cut it, it lights a cigarette and laughs. It finally started cooperating after I promised it my first born. Once it’s spooled, it’s very nice to use.

This is my favorite yarn to use. I bought this from Joann’s fabric store when they were open. I am glad that it is being sold on Amazon. It is great for both knitting and crocheting. I have made a scarf, and flower with it. It is a great beginner friendly yarn to use, especially if you are new to crocheting and knitting. It is also super soft and I have sensitive skin. Some yarns will irritate my skin but this one does not.

Very soft product and is typical of Bernat line of yarn. I hade a baby blanket that was much appreciated.

Hands down this is my favourite yarn I’ve ever used. Pls don’t even discontinue it.

I wish I could find these in-store as they're only $9 when I do. The prices on here are INSANE 😔

Super bonitos de muy buena calidad, compre en diversas ocasiones y todas salieron del mismo tono lo cual estuvo genial, ya tejido tambien se ha mantenido firme y de bonito color y calidad...

This is so nice it feels like my really lived in fleece jumpers and similar fabric. its not fluffy like the normal bernat blanket yarn its just silky and smooth and squishy. whatever i decide to make it needs to be something i can just shrug on and loose, as it has great drape! I'm going to try it in the pineapple crochet pattern to try it out, i think the stitch definition will be really good with this yarn.
