A.Vogel Passiflora Complex Drops - with Passion Flower Extract - 50ml

Having had anxiety for many years the part I struggle with most is sleep - that constant mind chatter seems to have a way of really wrecking my sleeping patterns! I have tried all sorts, from 5HTP, St Johns Wort, Valerian Tea and the thing I always come back to is Passionflower.The reason for it is simply because it works and there are NO side effects unlike many other supplements. Whilst I say it works, I mean it works mainly for sleep. Simply by taking 20 drops in a little water about 15 minutes before bed and it really does help the mind switch off.It does also work by alleviating the stress response if taken earlier in the day but it’s not amazing at general anxiety, just very good I would say.I take 20 drops in the morning and also 20 before bed and I genuinely have felt a sense of calm since taking it. Yes I still have that raging lunatic anxiety monster who loves to come out and taunt me at times but the passionflower does help fight him off a bit and like I say there are no side effects whatsoever - and take that from someone who literally has side effects from breathing air!!If you are suffering with anxiety then I feel your pain and just know that you are not alone. There is a book called DARE: The New Way to End Anxiety. I can’t recommend it enough it is such a simple way to deal with it and in my many years of experiencing it I finally feel like I’m in control after reading this book. Give it a try along with a bit of passionflower and I’m pretty certain you will be back to yourself in no time!

Very good product! I bought it because I was going through a very stressful time in my life and one of my recommended passiflora tincture. I have chosen this brand because I had been using other products and was very pleased with the quality of all of them.It did help me a lot, my sleep had improved within a week and I felt more calmer and rested in the morning, being able to face the day.It was easy to use and store, the taste was pleasant and easy to swallow.Highly recommended.

The A Vogel Passiflora complex contains Avena Sativa besides Passiflora Incarnata. This is good for people like I who are perennially tired. In my case, it is partly because of my lack of sleep. So I need the double advantage that this complex provides. I have severe anxiety issues so it is not a hundred percent effective and I don't go to sleep soon after taking it. I take it once in the evening and once at night (15 or 20 drops each time). Like all homeopathy remedies, it does not have any side-effects. But I usually consult my homeopath before taking any new remedies as homeopathic remedies do differ in dosage and their effect may vary based on the combination of problems a person has.

I am happy I tried this product, and I would advise you to try it to. It may work for some people, but unfortunately it didn't work very well for me. I generally have issues falling asleep, and I tried Passiflora last night after noticing that I couldn't switch off my thoughts. Usually I take melatonin in these circumstances, which works very well in my case, but I decided to give this product a try. It made my head lighter almost immediately, but it didn't switch off my thoughts, so overall I didn't fall asleep any faster. Today I have also experienced headache and overall dizziness (although it might be due to the lack of sleep).

As a long time sufferer of PMT insomnia I wish I'd found this years ago. It has radically improved my quality of sleep when 20 drops are taken half an hour before bed. I noticed when I ran out because I went right back to waking up two or three times a night, waking up feeling exhausted, irritable and depressed. Taken only at night the bottle lasted over two months and my sleep quality was incredible, a solid well-rested 8 hours which has been totally unheard of for me for the last decade. I take in conjunction with half a Kirkland Sleep Aid tablet. I have suffered from insomnia for so many years I just coped with it because the alternative offered y my GP was Zopiclone sleeping pills which made me feel horrific. Passionflower is a wonderful, gentle tonic that I can no longer do without if I want to function wholly and wake up happy and energised. Now that i am sleeping every aspect of my health has improved. It's also worth taking the A. Vogel Milk Thistle Complex tincture if you're experiencing insomnia as liver health also attributes to sound sleep cycles.

yeah well I'm sure it's good quality...can't say i really noticed any effect and i tried taking about 3 times the recommended amount on a couple of occasions... i am trying to use this to counter the effects of stopping smoking...apparently smoking has an maoi effect (mono amine oxidase inhibition) by inhibiting mono amine smoking apparently boosts dopamine which gives an anti depressant effect...so i have tried replacing cigarettes with electronic cigarettes which give you nicotene but no maoi effect..hence using passion flower extract which may do something similar to a mild maoi...I have absolute faith that this is a high quality tincture and have faith the the dr vogels brand so i have given it five stars, but to be honest can't really tell you much else, maybe i did feel a bit more relaxed, but most of this herbal stuff is all very subtle.
