I picked up the Kinzua Fly-Zyme to deal with a persistent drain fly issue in my kitchen drains. The enzyme gel is thick and clings to vertical surfaces inside the drain, breaking down organic buildup where flies breed. Within 48 hours, the fly activity dropped dramatically. Simple to use—just pour into problem drains at night and let it sit. No harsh chemical smell, and it leaves a clean, citrus-like scent behind. If you’re dealing with drain flies, fruit flies, or organic buildup in your pipes, this is a reliable solution. It’s not the cheapest option, but it works—and that makes it worth every penny. I think it actually even helps the drains keep from clogging up a little as well.

This stuff really works! I had really disgusting roommates who would leave food and unwashed dishes in the sink which attracted a lot of drain flies. This stuff kills the eggs in the drain. Get a big catcher and your problem will go away!

This product didn’t really work for me. I followed the directions on the label, but the drains are still the same. The smell of this product wasn’t that great either. On the positive side, customer service was very responsive. They saw my review, got back to me quickly, and provided a full refund. Appreciated how they handled this situation.

It does work

It did work after a few treatments. Didn't notice after first two treatments, but overall the 3rd and 4th did work on drain flies and odor in drain. Follow directions and it should work. Not as thick as in viscosity as I thought it would be. It helps to pour 7-8 cups boiling water first and then wait a few minutes to use product.

10/10 for this product. My kitchen was infested with the pesky gnats, and this product effectively killed them at the source in three days. I’ve recommended your product to family members too.

I purchased Fyy-Zyme hoping to eliminate the drain flys that developed after being away from home for the summer. Returning home from our summer vacation we noticed a lot of “fruit flies” in our home. There was no fruit or vegetables left to breed or attract flies. The flies seemed larger than fruit flies, and more pesty, flying right into our faces and eyes. After doing internet searches we decided they must be drain flies. They were predominately in our master bath, a few in the kitchen. Apple cider vinegar and Dawn dish soap caught a few, but not many. Internet searches presented a lot of products, I chose Fly-Zyme because we have a septic system for our home. The gallon arrived encased in a plastic bag, no leakage in the padded box. I cleaned our two bathroom traps, the shower trap was not serviceable, and the kitchen sink trap was not easily accessible. I then poured boiling water drown all traps. I poured 6 ounces of Fly-Zyme down each trap nightly, until the gallon was gone. Each sink received this treatment for five consecutive nights. It’s now been over a week since the last treatment and our fly issue shows little improvement. I guess an exterminator will be our next option.

I have purchased this product 9 times since 2021. It did a great job of keeping my drain gnats away. I recently bought a new bottle and found that THEY CHANGED THE PRODUCT. The bottle was not full - and not because it leaked during shipment. The new bottle was tightly wrapped in cellophane and there were no signs of leakage. Additionally, the product itself has clearly been watered down. It used to be a very thick gel that would cling to the drain. Now it is a watery syrup. Clearly, the company is cutting corners, yet charging the same price. I doubt that the watery syrup will work as well as the thick gel. Update: Customer Service reached out to me immediately after my initial review. THEY REFUNDED MY ENTIRE PAYMENT, apologizing for my experience. They asked that I keep the product and assured me they have not changed the formula nor did they water down the product. I changed my rating to 5 stars for their outstanding customer service. I have always loved this gel. I’ve tried everything and this is the only thing that keeps my gnats under control. It also has a very pleasant smell. They won me over with the best customer service I have ever experienced on Amazon.
