I rotate these filters, so I always have one drying, one in the machine, and one spare. I made the mistake of trying to clean the original filter and went a little too deep, damaging the filter. These are great, and a perfect fit for my Dyson.

Read product info before buying
This is totally my fault, but I guess I didn't read the product information or I didn't know exactly which model of the dyson I had, but these did not fit on my Dyson. Therefore, I cannot accurately give you a review on their function. Overall, they feel cheaper and much lower quality than the Dyson brand filter. Personally, I would pass on this and buy an authentic Dyson product, which is exactly what I ended up doing. Based on their overall appearance, I don't think they would function as well as the branded filter.

Does NOT fit V12
Says that it fits the Dyson V12, it wouldn't even go on. The OEM version is on the left and the one I bought is on the right. Completely useless, if the item description was correct it would have saved shipping times and frustration. The other thing it is not solid, it has a big hole in the back of the filter, not sure if that is for a specific model but I have never seen one on a Dyson.

Replacement parts to have on hand
These were ordered to keep on hand when the original no longer functions properly. They fit perfectly and the vacuum operates like it should. I like to keep wear items like these on hand so that I'm not having to wait for a replacement when it's needed. I know I'll need these eventually so why not stock up now. These fit great and work as new.
