Women's Ladies Solid Colored Classic French Wool Blend Beret Hat Cap

This beret is made of very thin material. It's a good quality material, just thinner than what I expected. It has a good stretch to it, so it's east to put on. It does not have a lot of hang over, but it's cute. It looks the same every time you put it on because it's not as big as a normal beret .. so far as the amount of material that's usually used to make one .. so you know what look to expect .. which I like. I like the hang over of a regular beret but I find it a little tricky sometimes to get my other berets to look the same when I put it on .. so I warmed up to this beret right out of the package. I wanted a little more flare to it, because it's a solid color so I also purchased on amazon the .. Ailer Women's Sparkly Couple Swan Brooch with Bling Crystal Rhinestone for Wedding Daily Wear-Goldtone Color .. (if you would like to see the brooch .. copy from the word Ailer to Color) .. The brooch is a PERFECT size for a beret. It took a few attempts to get the brooch to stay attached. I had to figure out how to the fasten the brooch, on the hat. I tried it on again before I got the brooch to stay and found that it doesn't need it. Even though it's plain, it's stylish .. very cute on. If you're looking for a beret with thicker material, and a deisgn .. I suggest the C.C Rhinestone Embellished Embroidered Flower French Style Angora Beret. I have the black and ivory and they are made out of a thick, soft, stretchy wool.

I have two other BAKST berets, both crocheted, different colors, that I like a little better than I like this one. The black chenille is somewhat dressier, and goes better with more dressed up clothing. It arrived with a big packing wrinkle, which I'm still trying to get out. I will probably get rid of the draw-string, since it fits well.

Love it! Will likely buy additional colors from this brand. It is definatly a staple.
