I like this product, I do.It does the job- my phone is intact, it has not scratches, it’s been dropped a few times- all good!Bought in Aug 2020- today is Sept 2021.The frequency of removing the phone from the case so I plug into the docking station has meant that the casing (plastic screen protection) is now broken and defunct- I probably do this once a day, then put it back in its case.Yes it’s more expensive than a normal case, but it’s half the price of an Otterbox (not that they have the same specs- but it was the other case I was looking at).There’s a few chips here and there, if you clean it and some liquid gets under the casing (very easy to do #covid) the touchscreen becomes less sensitive/responsive- but just dry it.Will I be getting another the same? I’m going to shop around, but it’s lasted 13 months of constant use.

This is the second time I have purchased this particular case; originally on an Apple 7 and it fitted very well and was durable and saved my phone after dropping a couple of times. It is not 100% shock preventing as I dropped the Apple 7 prior to changing to an SE model and the corner of the screen chipped. The integral screen saver is not the best quality and scratches easily. The latest purchase was not as good a fit at the bottom around the charging port on the new SE model of phone as it was on my older Apple 7 model, so I assume there is a minuscule difference in the two phones although the manufacturer started that the case was suitable for both models. But that said the case is good lucking and has an expensive feel to it, and offers an amount of protection. I was disappointed in the durability of the built in screen saver but that said I would recommend this case!

The case was very easy to assemble, I would always recommend ensuring both your screen and the front screen protector has been thoroughly cleaned before putting it together. If not you will see smudged or bits of dust/ debris that you can’t wipe off which is annoying. You might then have to take it apart and reassemble it again. The screen protector fits well and is hardly noticeable at all.In terms of aesthetic, it’s a snug fit that doesn’t bulk up the phone too much. I have very small hands and I haven’t found that I can’t hold it properly. Also I have had comments from friends saying that it looks strong. I think it looks quite nice.It also appears to be quite strong and tough. Luckily I haven’t dropped my phone yet, or put it in any real danger of suffering damage, so I can’t really comment as to how durable it is on a practical level. It does feel strong though, which is reassuring.I’d argue that at £16.99 it is good value for money based on its easiness to assemble, its appearance and the durability it provides.Minor issues that annoy me about this product are largely to do with the buttons. There is no issue with the on/off button, or the volume button. However the switch to put the phone on silent is kind of difficult to access. Like I said earlier I have small hands/ fingers so it would probably be even more annoying for people with normal sized hands or larger.The flap for the charger is also a bit annoying as it takes a bit of effort to flap back, and if you let go once you have pushed it back before you place the charger into the port, it will snap back like an elastic band. This makes charging a little fiddly. Although it does support wireless charging so that’s a bonus.Overall it’s a good product and am happy with my purchase.

Lasted me more 3 and half years of use !

Ok so after buying a £3 all over case on eBay I was dubious about this one. But I’m glad I bought it. If I’d have got this off of the Apple Store I’d be as delighted. It feels like a quality product. Nice tight fit, lines up perfectly around home button, camera, front camera, sensors and ear speaker. Doesn’t really feel that bulky either. Charging port flap fits nice and snug, doesn’t feel as if it will flap about in the breeze. When using the phone it doesn’t really feel as if there is a cover all over the screen. The power button and volume buttons work as if they are not covered. It may take a while to get it on and off but I expect that with an all over case. I’m a lorry driver dealing with tarmac, so if you’re in a job similar to that, or you’re going hiking etc then I can’t recommend this case enough. Let’s make it clear if I’m going out out then I’d most likely take this case off. Just because I like the glass back and I’m careful not to drop my phone, but that’s not to say you could keep this one on all the time. Other all over cases are simply there to protect phone from what you’re doing and then to be removed after as they are too bulky for everyday use. This simply isn’t in my opinion. If I’m being honest there’s is just one small niggle, using the switch to change phone to silent is near enough impossible. I had to use little finger with the small amount on nail I have. So if you’re someone with longer nails then maybe it won’t be that bad. But for me using any other digit is impossible and I’ve not got massive hands. But that’s it as far as I can see and it’s really not a major thing anyway, as when this case will be on I can’t foresee needing silent mode anyway. For the others that would need it then maybe it will annoy, it’s a small price to pay for an awesome case.

I have the iPhone 8 and I overall find the case is well constructed and easy enough to attach to the phone. It came with simple clear instructions, however it wasn’t the easiest to unattach it from itself to attach to the phone.It feels really durable and is quite light weight, however the glass to cover the screen for protection feels too flimsy for my liking. I felt that I was going to end up breaking it when attaching it onto my phone. The glass bends too easily and it REALLY THIN... That’s probably the biggest issue I have but everything else is fine.I would advise people to be careful when attaching this to your phone.Maybe not worth £17 but it’s decent enough and not had any problems with it as a whole. It also delivered quickly which is a plus.
