With a battery attached it stops all slugs and snails. Use two strips if not using a battery
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Great conductivity. Very sticky. The backing is strong enough to assist with positioning the tape. I used it to prevent snails and slugs from eating my beans. We attached a battery too to stop the more eager and adventurous slug or snail... This video shows a snail being deterred by just the copper tape though. Another reason this project worked is because I used new soil so that I knew there were no slugs or snails already on the beans side of the barrier. The bigger snails can reach over one strip so I recommend two strips.

Works well and stays stuck on.
We were having trouble with slugs and snails so bought this tape to try and stop them. I applied it around the tubs at different heights and I'd say they were effective. The adhesive is great as it's still stuck despite copious amounts of rain.

Great for stopping slugs
I bought it to fix a broken iPad keyboard, never used it.But I did find out it can be used to project a rabbit hutch from (very dangerous) slug invasion and for that it worked a treat.. no more slugs!
