I picked this up for my vet-bound daughter, who wanted to practice stiches she's learning. This was an affordable set with almost everything she needs. The tools are fine and work very well for the purpose and there are enough strings for her to use as well. She's been enjoying it.

I purchased this item for my ER bag for SHTF situation. I personally don't care for the feel of the scalpel included, but I have others. Having a variety of sutures in this little kit is a bonus. Keep in mind it's intended purpose and the purpose you have for it.

I snagged this little kit to throw in our emergency/armageddon stock pile. I know it says practice only, but let's be real if any of us find ourselves in a walking dead situation - ain't no one gonna care that it says for practice only. Everything came as described and everything is functional, I even wasted one suture just to make sure they were reverse cutting and threaded properly. I just happened upon it when it was $9.99 so I got a pretty good deal for everything that comes in it and the case.

This product is great for training especially for people going into the medical field. This goes in my first aid kid for emergency’s.

I bought some sterile sutures and used this set to stitch up a cut on my finger, tough to tie but managed to do it. Only had one stitch come out on its own.
